Shannon's Saloon - American restaurant in Ellicott City - 9338 Baltimore National Pike, USA

The food is always great, amazing how consistent they can be, and they mix it up with their specials. The wait staff is excellent and all the people that work there are top notch! The bar is very fun, lots of regulars, people are super friendly and always willing to move (left/right) to open seats for others when they are waiting (it’s a regular happening-tradition). The bar tenders are the absolute best...Mark, Sandy, and the entire team there... you will not be disappointed.

This is my local go to bar. Everything is good but chef Brian outdid himself on the Rockfish Provençal special on last night’s menu. Actually all the rock fish specials have been excellent! The photo here is after I ate about half of the dish

Shannon’s has consistently good food. I’ve never had a bad meal there! The servers are great! Friendly and efficient. Mark, behind the bar, is personable, funny and efficient. My go to place! We all do the “Shannon Shuffle” at the bar when someone needs an extra seat, and everyone gets a kick out it!

Best bar around. Everyone is so friendly. Fantastic service. Fantastic food. Mark is the absolute best bartender. Bar etiquette... make room for others when you can ... move down a seat if possible to make room for your fellow patrons.

Food was great! Came during prime time Friday night. Had a way to few minutes to get a table, but it was not long. Decided on the pepper jack chicken sandwich. It was very good and very filling. Couldn't finish it due to the size. The restaurant was very clean, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Love that they had a kids menu, and were able to switch a few things for dietary needs. Overall, I would really recommend this restaurant if you were in the area and looking for a sit-down restaurant.

The menu doesn't look exciting but this place consistently delivers super well prepared food that always impresses me. Classic dishes done exceptionally well. I'd say one of the best eats in Ellicott City. And staff is also on point

I hesitate to recommend Shannon's because it's already so popular. I've never had a bad meal here and the staff is (are?) delightful and welcoming. Parking can be a challenge during busy times but it's worth the effort.

I visited the bar at this location and while i was eating dinner the bartender Mark demanded that I give up my seat for another customer. I was shocked and asked to speak to a manger. While I was discussing my concerns with the manager Mark grabbed the food and threw it down to the floor. This man is obviously emotionally unstable and dangerous and this restaurant should be avoided for your own personal safety. To add I'm a young woman with a disability and this person saw that and decided to take advantage of my vulnerabilities. This is how this business treats their customers.
