Shankz Mini Golf & VR - Miniature golf course in The Woodlands - 3091 College Park Dr #270, USA

Myself, granddaughter, daughter and her boyfriend all went to check this place out. It was definitely fun, the black light glow mini golf was an interesting and different type of mini golfing experience. It is somewhat small inside, especially where the arcade games are. There is a variety of games to play to accommodate different age ranges. Overall, it was an experience that warrants a return with other grandkids I wasn't able to bring along this time.

This place was great for a rainy day on Spring Break with my 5, 7 and 12 year old. We will definitely be coming back. Just a suggestion to those that are planning on going, book your Tee Time in advance for the day. You can do it online. We just stopped in because of the rain and were in the area. My boys love putt putt and arcade games. So I thought, well this is cool! We just happened to luck out and get a walk-in Tee Time (Someone else had canceled). I did a package deal that included a round of golf, glow necklaces and $20 game cards for each of us. If you need to reload the game card, you can do it yourself at the reload machine. The arcade itself isn't super huge but had a great selection of games for every single one of my kiddos. Every game was working properly and everything was super clean. It had a friendly vibe and the staff was helpful and nice. It appeared that most people were playing games while waiting for their Tee-Time or after they were done. This seemed to help with the crowding. The black light golf was fantastic! Glowing golf balls and elaborate themed courses. It was just long enough yet short enough to keep my boys entertained. The absolutely loved it!!!! Worth going again!

Fun mini golf place that was cooler inside than expected. There is a small arcade to enjoy while you're waiting (at an extra cost) for your golf game and cute photo ops. The wait was kind of long (40 minutes or so) and I'd recommend making an appointment in advance to avoid waiting too long. There was no one directly ahead of our group playing, but a group was let in behind us a little too close and we had to rush on some holes which was frustrating. The decor and black light/glow part of the course was really cool and well done. There are several themes (ocean, jungle, dinosaurs) that shift as you play. The golf balls light up which is really cool. One of our balls kept going out, however, which made it really hard to find on the course. The holes were challenging but a little repetitive and none were something I hadn't seen before playing mini golf. Highly recommend checking this place out for an afternoon of fun!

SCHEDULE AHEAD. We were told of a 20-30 minute wait, no reservation needed, and by the time we got there, it was an hour wait. This place is extremely tiny for a mini golf center, like the size of an Exxon gas station, AC blasting on high, perfect spot to beat the heat, half the building is arcades and a VR setup, under 20 games, and the golf section on the other. 100% a place for kids or under 18, but adults, there's better and bigger spots.

We enjoyed the indoor mini golf. A chance to hide from the sun for our family. The facility was clean. The course was fun.

It was pretty good. The thing I didn't account for was that the dark combined with the noises was a bit scary for my 4yo daughter. I mean she should get over it, but still it was a factor. --edit-- To be clear, I wasn't complaining or saying it's bad. Just included the note so others are aware. It was still a good time.

Mini golf was awesome! Decent selection of arcade games and one air hockey table. VR was cool but maybe it's just me or if it's a VR thing but it is very slippery and difficult to make my character walk. But it was fun regardless! Schedule ahead of you can, they seem to run out of slots quickly.

Fun place but kind of cramped. If you're someone with claustrophobia or just really want to have a good amount of personal space, you might not want to come here... particularly during a weekend. The mini golf is fun, even if the last hole isn't really part of the game and is just a random "drop your ball here" task. Video game selection is limited but decent for the space they're operating with. The place is kept clean and while their scheduling and rules might seem strict, it's all so EVERYONE can have fun. Reserving ahead of time is important, for sure.
