Go to the Chinese restaurant across the street instead!! I got the beef and broccoli lunch special here was not happy the meat was so chewy and weird looks good but was not I just ate the broccoli and rice also food just taste bland. My boyfriend ordered boneless spare ribs very bland as well definitely had better that’s forsure!

Still the same owner! Thank God! I have been coming here for at least 5-6 years, so I don't understand why all the reviews are gone. Their food is delicious. I only get the curry shrimp, but everyone I know goes for the shrimp fried rice. The owner's are some of the nicest people you'll ever met. Joey is the sweetest and I love her. She always greets me with a big smile and "Hello honey!" They make me feel like family. If cleanliness is important to you just know that this place is spotless. My favorite take-out by far! The prices are also very reasonable for the portions that are given. One large is two meals for me. See you soon!

I was shocked that a 4.6 rated place would deliver $40 worth of fatty/gristle chunks of beef, and forget to bring plates or the sauces I requested in the notes section of the app they make you order from. I could have gone anywhere, but this is not worth the hyped ratings. If Quality ingredients and customer service matter, don't waste your money like I did.

We haven’t had good asian food since we moved to Florida but we’ve found the place. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings, the dumpling sauce is the best I’ve ever had, the sesame chicken and the honey chicken. The lady that took our order was very nice as well. Thank you!

I don't eat out much. Today I had desired a take-out meal and had a little bit of extra money for it. I wanted bourbon chicken and fried rice. It's a real treat. I also was interested in trying their steak egg roll. I got the bourbon chicken combo, and paid $2 extra to sub the regular eggroll with a steak eggroll. I pay for my meal and run over to the Publix for some drinks. I come back, and my food is ready. I take it home, happy as can be. I open my bag and notice there aren't any sauces, fortune cookie, napkins, or even plasticware to eat with. I take a bite of the bourbon chicken, and it was not sweet like I was expecting. It had a weird, saltiness to it that I wasn't prepared for, nor enjoyed. The fried rice was pretty great, but no sauces for it. The steak eggroll turned out to be a regular eggroll too. I am very disappointed in my first experience at this restaurant. I am not able to eat out often so I was really hoping this would be what I expected. Since the fried rice was so good, I am willing to give it another chance. I won't be trying the bourbon chicken again. Probably the sweet and sour chicken.

Are you in the mood for some N.Y. style Chinese food? That's exactly what you get at Shang Hai. Food is always good, hot and affordable. What else could you ask for in these uncertain times. Customer service is also amazing, the owners are super kind. Definitely give them a shot, you won't be disappointed

Update: Company refunded my money! I need a refund! I bought sweet and sour pork with fried rice and I was served dried dough balls with tiny pieces of pork in it! I know my Chinese food and this is definitely not what sweet and sour pork looks or tastes like. They shouldn't be serving this to people. I got home and had to separate the dough from the pork because if I wanted dough in my order🙄🙄🙄, I would have stopped at Dunkin instead.

This is the best tasting Chinese food I have had since NY. But they are better than the NY Chinese food in their dumplings. They have absolutely the best dumplings and their chicken is just like the NY chicken wings ❤️❤️❤️.
