While the ambiance is average, our dining experience was marred by a rude server who neglected to mention side options, displaying a consistently unfriendly tone. However, a redeeming aspect was the complimentary miso soup and salad. The yakisoba was passable, lacking any standout qualities, and the vegetable roll was mediocre. The lackluster atmosphere contributed to an overall subpar dining experience.
Our hibachi chef put on a really good show, so much fun & the hibachi was phenomenal. The lady who seated us and waited our seating was not friendly at all, did not bring our drinks nor did she want to be bothered with us.
While this was rather frustrating, I am still giving 5 stars because it was such a good time.
It was also VERY reasonably priced and worth every penny!
We decided to try lunch and the food was awesome. Don't let this restaurant fool you by being in a strip mall. The "Great box" lunch options had many options on the menu and they were even flexible with some modifications on thos. Their sushi rolls were delicious and were big in size as well. This would be a great place for a tourist lunch/diner or even better for a business luncheon. We will definitely be back.
Solid hibachi selection and sushi with a decent show to go along with it. My business partner and I both had filet and it was a decent quality steak and well prepared. I wish some of the vegetables were cooked a bit longer, but that's my only complaint about the food. They seemed to be using the back section of the restaurant as a storage room, so my view while sitting at the hibachi grill didn't have the most ambiance, but at least the food was good and the chef was fun.
Appetizers, hibachi and dessert were excellent. Loved the steamed dumplings, spring rolls, filet hibachi, strawberry mochi, and banana tempura! Had a very nice server, it was her second day on the job and she provided great service.
This is our go-to sushi place when we visit the area. Always spot-on and friendly service.
Shan Kishi is our absolute favorite restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and we are always treated like family here. Any special occasion, we celebrate at Shan Kishi. Their sushi is delicious, and the hibachi is always perfect. They have a broad menu, but they do it all well. The wait staff always treats our children so nicely. Shan Kishi is definitely a place for families to enjoy together!
It was a pleasant evening! The chef cheered us up with his show) it was wonderful )) the rice cooked by the chef was the best rice in my life ) but I didn’t like the sushi ( they were dry and without a bright taste ... insipid ( but despite this, it was always wonderful ! waiters were very attentive to us! will I come again? - Yes. will i order sushi again? -No

Came here to get a bowl for breakfast. The Powerhouse bowl was everything I needed. I added chia seeds (helps me feel fuller longer) and bee pollen (hoping it helps with all the sneezing I've been doing the past few days). It was absolutely delicious
