I love Shala. I've been coming off and on for about a year. I'm definitely still a newbie at yoga but I always feel accepted right where I'm at. I can tell that the folks who run Shala have a deep understanding and appreciation for the roots of yoga. It doesn't feel appropriated. I love the yin and gentle classes and I love that there are a lot of sound healing classes. They have an amazing intro offer so if you've never been, get in on their first month for 49$. They also have a couple discount of buy one monthly membership and get one half off. Also a great deal.
I’ve been attending Shala Living Yoga for almost a year with the unlimited membership. The studio is clean and welcoming. I like the variety of classes and teachers. I’m able to find a class that fits with my schedule each day. The online signup is easy to use and the class descriptions are accurate. Some of the classes are fast-paced fitness-type classes vs the yoga I was used to practicing but I enjoy them as well. The hot yoga atmosphere is especially nice during our cold winter months.
I love this Yoga studio! A decent amount of time to use up my class pass, a variety of classes and times, hot but not pass out level hot, and everyone is very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t. It leans towards the meditative/spiritual aspects not the “yoga is a workout” competition vibe, while still kicking my bum and I love that!
Grasp the ineffable - how does one articulate in the written word an understanding that expands throughout our world, the cosmos and divine; yet remain centered on self? In essence I can some it up in one word, Yoga! I came to The Shala living yoga community a broken, lost and wounded creature. And my struggles to recovery have been long Fo Sho 😅 But I never felt alone,. Always felt the support of this wonderful community 🥰 If you wish to grasp the ineffable, start your journey at the Shala living yoga
My wife has been enjoying Shala Living Yoga for a few years. I purchased a 30-day unlimited pass in September to see if yoga was for me. Shala Living Yoga creates an environment where I can feel comfortable being a 50 year old with extraordinarily tight muscles and woeful inflexibility. I’ve enjoyed multiple classes by multiple teachers and they have all been delightful and empowering. The business is filled with smiles, acceptance, hope and encouragement. Yoga is for me and Shala Living Yoga will be my vehicle to drive toward my goals.
Shala Living Yoga is my favorite studio in the Spokane area! Not only do they offer a wide range of classes, but they also host workshops and training classes. My favorite part about this studio is the passion for healing through sound. The community is super welcoming and I always feel at home, no matter how long I'm away from my mat. Thanks Ara and John for creating a space for everyone!!
I LOVE being at Shala…there are so many wonderful (and sometimes life changing) class sessions & meditations to choose from. I particularly enjoy the heated classes…I feel a strong and complete feeling of saturated calm and zen after hot classes. The mystical hand painted wall murals and crystal pendant tree sculptures take me to another world. When I have the opportunity to attend sound healing classes, I am soaked with singing bells and pure peace. Shala Living is the best…the people that work and teach from there are super friendly and very welcoming. Thank you SHALA for all you do for me and our community!!!
I lived in Seattle for 9 years and went to several studios. This one is better than any of them! They have such a variety! Meditation, yin (unheated) yoga, Baptiste style flow, beginners yoga, power flow, 26&2 hatha and they teach kundalini. In fact they might be one of the only studios around who do. Very inclusive and fantastic community.
At Hatch Beaker + burr I was impressed with the care and consistency that goes into every cup. It is somewhat rare to find a coffee shop that goes through the process of measuring each dose, tamping it correctly, and pouring every shot with the same
I love these workouts! The community that Joe and the trainers nurture is fantastic. Itâs such a positive space to be and I feel stronger than I ever have! The workouts are hard and rewarding but if you need modifications, they gladly help you find
This studio is my happy place!!! The atmosphere, the people, and the classes always put me in the best mood. I leave every single time with a smile, guaranteed!!! I love the âno judgementâ feel of this studio and it is a place for all levels to j
The crepes here are delicious and absolutely beautiful, and the latte art is so impressive. We got the classic nutella, strawberry and banana crepe, as well as the strawberry crunch crepe, and two vanilla lattes. The folks that work there are very ki
They don't offer food, but this place has great vibes going for it. It's the classiest dive bar in Spokane for sure, and I'll definitely be back. Josh is a fantastic bartender.
Absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious. Was my first time but certainly wonât be the last! I highly recommend! I went again with a friend and granddaughter. I got the BBQ ribs, she got the pork sliders and GD got sesame chicken. Mmm. Oh so f
Great gym! My husband and I were passing through the area and they were happy to let us drop in for the day. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely use this gym again the next time we are in Spokane.
We had a great trip. The guides took us on fun rapids, but we never felt like they didn't have it under control. The guides were awesome, they shared cool stories and kept it fun. All the guides seemed awesome, but our boat guide, Jackson, was phenom
Here at orange theory it is a good environment that helps me get motivated to workout especially during cold months. The workouts are as challenging as I want them depending on how hard I push myself (or the coach pushes me ð). The treadmills are
