For all the hype people have made about this place, it's definitely not the best burger I've eaten in San Diego. We saw the line was out the door and decided to check it out (must be good, right?), but no... if you're looking to savor a great burger, check out Caliano's Pizza in Chula Vista, order their cheeseburger, you won't ever f Go to shake shack again.

Quick ordering and fast service. Food is more pricey than other places, but overall is worth the price. I always get the shroom burger since it is unique and love the cheese! Update 13-JUL-2023: Besides ordering at the counter there are also self serve kiosks. The irony is the self serve kiosks were all full so I was able to order quickly at the counter. Food comes out quick and wait staff come by often to ask if you want drink refills or clear trash. Overall still good food and service.

To go order: French fries seemed cool in middle as I munched on way home. Placed Cheeseburger in oven while I took dogs out briefly. Delicious, and hot! They had caramelized the beef perfectly on edges so the slight reheat brought out the flavors. Atmosphere: personal dislike of self-order black box. I take 3xs as long looking for items when I could just ask - 1.2.3. Done.

I thought the Shack Burger at this SS location was maybe not quite up to standard of the other locations I've tried. Meat was a little dry and overall the sandwich lacked the usual appeal. Still a good burger though perhaps a little small for what most people are looking for. Fries were good. The lemonade was too intensely sweet for my taste and I didn't finish it. This location is very attractively decorated but could use a deep clean. The wide spaces between the slats of the benches were filthy and gross. Bathroom was very clean, however, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Roadside Double and Shroom Burger, lettuce wrapped. I’d had a good experience with protein style burgers at in-n-out, so I opted to try it here.. the pictures look bad, but the taste was worse.

Staff was super nice and helpful. Food was delicious! Their chicken nuggets are super tasty. The lemonade is good too. The spicy fries have a kick, so processed with caution lol and don't inhale.

I don't know why but the staffs were super rude. They just yelled at me the number that I've got even I didn't get a message from them. Also I ordered a chicken sandwich this time, the meat was soggy and it wasn't worth for 10 bucks. Worst experience I've ever had in shake shack.

Easy access to order thru the tablet or at the counter. Menu is really simple. I had the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger and that was fine. The fries were great, crinkled and salty. Also got the Cookies N Cream Shake and that was fine. Great service and great people.
