Shaka Donuts - Donut shop in Orlando - 225 E Michigan St, USA

heard about this donut shop while visiting orlando so came by to try a few of their donuts. the lady at the counter was helpful. came to try the original glaze but they were sold out already by 11am. she recommended the donut holes as the glaze was similar. we also got the aloha fritter and cronut. we enjoyed our donuts in the store, there was plenty of seating with a self serve counter in the back for water and cutlery. they also do ice cream here. the apple fritter was our favourite. it was crispy on the outside and not overly sweet. it was cinnamon forward with a hint of coconut. i would definitely get this again. the cronut was good but could be fluffier with more layers on the inside. the donut holes were our least favourite. they were very sweet and did not taste as fresh as the other donuts we got.

We tried Shaka Donuts for the first time earlier this week and we were so excited to taste these beautiful donuts. We ordered a half dozen to take home. We tried a croissant donut, guava donut, brown sugar/pecan, peanut butter and jelly, apple fritter/ pineapple, and a Samoa donut. We enjoyed the toppings on all of them. The donuts themselves weren’t bad, but they were pretty bland. The restaurant itself was really nice and so was the staff member we interacted with. It was fun watching the families come in and seeing the excitement in their faces to see these beautiful donuts. For our taste, we don’t need to return, but I’m sure that many others may really enjoy Shaka.

A lovely donut place. The basic glazed is better than national chains, IMO. It's worth a 20-minute drive from where I stayed. The lady who worked solo when I visited was really nice, polite and welcoming.

Came here last hour for BUY TWO GET TWO FREE donuts. Sugary, but a bit hard due to the hour we bought them. We like coming here for ice cream more! Service very friendly. Would recommend as an ICE CREAM PLACE!

Wonderful donut shop - absolutely worth a long drive from anywhere. Found it on a way to West Palm Beach, I was sure it was a franchise based on the awesome packaging and donut assortment, but was very upset to find out that this place is a one of a kind. Great donuts, very soft and light, perfect amount of toppings. Even if they're not freshly made, still taste amazing. Keep it up, I will definitely be back!

A little pricey but totally worth it. Their Cronut is airy and full of layers - 12/10 worth it!! Also the cookies and cream donut is filled with light fluffy cream and topped with Oreo crumbles. Delicious.

This is definitely a HIDDEN GEM! I have no idea how it was dead on a Friday night….my husband and I stopped for dinner at the wing stop next door and sat in the car and enjoyed our food and saw NO ONE come in here in the over hour we were in the area so we went in to get some dessert…The lady behind the counter was one of the nicest people I’ve met in my life! The receipt said her name was Kayla already a good sign as that’s my best friend’s name! AND she gave us a bunch of donuts for free (lots of leftovers for breakfast or snacks this weekend) since there were so many left and she was closing in 2 hours…we sat in the parking lot after purchasing our order and 1 person did come in after us and she did the SAME THING! AMAZING! Now, LET ME TELL YOU!! Those donuts are AMAZING and they making everything in house!!!! INCREDIBLE! The stars of the show were the maple bacon 10/10!!!! And the cronuts were also really good I’d say 8/10 only because my personal preference it needed some more layers…there were so many to choose from! We will 100% be back!!

Donuts are light , fluffy and not overly sweet. Also I had the butter pecan ice cream and it was delicious.
