Fun spot for a little get away! Close to a few places to listen to music or you can sit on the porch and soak in the quiet. We stayed in the sunflower shack.. fun decor and it was nice and clean. We visited the ground zero blues club and Lavon’s and enjoyed both. Will definitely be back 😀
We stayed here a few weeks ago. We've stayed in quite a few hotels lately and this place is better than them all and cheaper!!! The shacks are so cool, comfortable and very clean. We even had a full size fridge and a coffee maker with a full tin of coffee next to it in the kitchen. We felt at home in the Pine Top Perkins room. It even had a piano! Too cool!!! The people at the front desk are sooooo nice! I can't wait to come back here and stay again.
Lovley place, we spend only 1 night there but it was amazing. Peace, silence (no concert that night) e the owner is very friendly and helpfull. I realy would like to came back asap. The shacks are warm and welcoming and having the breakfast watching the sunrise from the small patio in the open air was adorable.
Honestly, this was one of the greatest places I have ever been. If you love the blue's you will not be disappointed ! We stayed in Pinetop Perkins Shack. When we got there, it was like walking back in time. Although the rooms are shacks, they have all your needs! Great place to stay, excellent prices, and I will be back. Don't forget to check out the crossroads!
This is truly a unique experience. Everything is this shack appears to be reclaimed which makes this a trip like no other. Your shack is like a piece of art with so much to see. Staff were friendly, gift shop is adorable it was a wonderful time sitting on rocking chairs in the peace and quiet outdoors. Plus it has a cool bar/event space. We enjoyed our time. The shacks are better in person than in the photos.
We loved, loved, loved our stay. It was so hot out, but our house was so cool & comfortable. ||My husband & I stayed in one room, 2 sons shared a bed in another, then another 2 sons in another room. All teenagers. ||The home was beautifully decorated with antiques. The 2 bathrooms were nice, too. Strong toilets & a large shower.||The staff is super friendly. They let you borrow guitars from the lobby during your stay. ||We took cool picts standing next to a real cotton field surrounding the property. ||Totally recommend a stay here when you’re in Blues Country.
Was Shack Up Inn the most romantic stay during our anniversary trip to New Orleans? YES YES IT WAS! I was excited to check out these cool cabins since we prefer unique stays to modern hotels, I wasn't expecting to LOVE them as much as I did!! Firstly, you drive in and it's serotonin overload. From the beautifully rustic cabins to the mishmash of vintage decor around the grounds, there's so much to look at. We came the day before the Blues Festival, so we missed out on actually experiencing the venue, but it was SO COOL. The women who checked us in and out were helpful and polite. We stayed in the Delta cabin, and walked in as golden hour settled over cotton fields. Our cabin was cool, clean and had more than what we needed for our stay. We sat on the front and back porch and took in our view. We went downtown for dinner and dancing and came home to crash on the comfy bed. I will note, for those who don't wash or wet their hair everyday - bring shower caps. The shower had a waterfall shower head that came straight down and as I had just dyed my hair I didn't need hot water on it- but that isn't even a complaint as it's still a cool feature. We didn't use the full kitchen but appreciated the option. I'm sad we only stayed one night, but excited to make this a regular stop!
Step into Culture & Music….extraordinary real living history of the Blues. Pick up a guitar in the reception and find your own blues. Make sure to stay for the special Monday music nights. This is a powerful place in music history and doing cultural preservation, connection and understanding in brilliant ways that you get to live in real time. We will be back.
When I visit Clarksdale Mississippi my family and I stay at the Hampton Inn because of the convenience it offers to our relatives. During this particular stay, Oct 28th-Oct 29th, I got to meet the most amazing staff! The woman that checked us in, I f
On a cold Wednesday night in January we came here after we saw a flyer a blue cotton bake shop we needed to check bad apples blues club out. And we are so happy that we did! It was a very special hart touching night with a lot of live music and histo
Go see the new sales associate Caressa for assistance. She was absolutely amazing. She made my experience of furniture shopping a whole lot easier. She was also very polite. She helped me to pick out the best furniture. I am very grateful.
Great night listening to "Reverent" Roberts. Met Stan Street as a wonderful host, working hard, like most of Clarkesdale, to keep the sound and those vibes alive. Thanks Stan!
What a neat, cozy little place off the beaten path. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. If you are here, it's a must go, and if we get back through, we will be back.
