Property is beautiful. The rooms are simple, rustic, and clean. Each of the buildings is named after local wildflowers. And there's space between the buildings, so nothing seems crowded. Plenty of trees in the area, and you really feel you're tucked away in the woods. The restaurant is close by, but felt it was overpriced for the quality of the food. Across the street from the hotel and restaurant is a creek with a beautiful riverbed. Great spot for looking for eagles, and we were told it's also a good place to spot moose on occasion. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, would recommend as a nice place to stay in Seward.

Nice lodging and location. The property has a number of outbuildings with 6-8 units per building. Close to Seward considering the size of the complex. Food was just decent at the restaurant but drinks were up to par! The rooms were rustic and woodsy with enough space. It was decently quiet and far too easy to easy to fall asleep in! Windsong Lodge catered to our business group and was attentive to our needs for the visit.

We stayed at three Westmark Hotels before arriving here and this lodge was by far the best on our tour. Downsides was that our room was downstairs so we heard upstairs neighbors all night long (they got up at 1 am to see the northern lights). Didn't like the fact that the bathroom sink was OUTSIDE the bathroom and right next to my bed. because, once again, our upstairs neighbors were noisy as they walked back and forth to use the sink. Coffee in the room was horrible, so we purchased from the coffee kiosk. Pricey but at least it was palatable. Free ice for those staying at the Lodge. Beautiful big fireplace in the lobby. There was a nice little view of the trees outside, very pretty. Adjoining restaurant was great...went there several times. We'd probably come back here but request an upstairs room next time.

I had frankly high expectations with this beautiful lodge amongst nature but there is hardly anything positive to mention about. Rooms are clamped with each and every other sound from nearby cabins clearly audible. The weird part is the bathroom sink is out near the bed so after using restroom you have to come out and disturb other members in the room for washing hands even. This is the one and only place I have found in my life which has sink outside. No AC, no fan, small bathrooms just to fit in and water pressure v low. No microwave in the room, not even a complimentary coffee. No room service. Only thing is it’s between beautiful surroundings and trails for which I gave one star.

I expected more for the price. The sink faucet sprayed all over the place. This was a tad frustrating especially since the sink is located in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was not particularly nice. Luckily we only interacted with her once. The rest of the time we had a pleasant experience with the staff (especially Mika, she’s wonderful!!!!) Overall it’s a decent place to stay for one or two nights, but I do think it’s overpriced and not very comfortable.

Some of the staff was very pleasant but some were very rude. When checking out it was name? Ok your good. The room needed a good dusting pictures above the beds were filthy. ||Room was like a sauna or cold. Beds very comfortable and otherwise a nice room. ||The feeling was that the hotel and staff were ready to get out of Seward and not very happy to be stuck here tending to 170 Realtors who paid a lot of money to hold our convention here.

Our group had 6 people and the room that they recommended us to book is perfectly comfortable for our 3 days trip in Seward. We had 2 queen beds and an extended sofa beds. They provided room services everyday. Very nice and clean. Super close to the glacier and kennels. Very nice and calm area

The customer service is excellent, the rooms were comfy and large, and we were close to everything. We saw bald eagles on site, ate fabulous chowder, fish, and other food at Resurrection Roadhouse, and hung out at the fire in the lodge or on our veranda during our down time. What a great place to stay!

Best decision of the trip. This experience was amazing and the gold star tickets are well worth the cost. I'll be honest I spent 70% of the train ride on the balcony. The photos are just 20 of over 150 taken on the train ride.

Beautiful views all around. You will pass through the Chugach Forest if you're driving down south to Seward. Watch out for Moose 🫎 crossing the roads. Maintain your distance if you stop for photos as moose are known to charge if you're too close.
