Bob the manager makes this place a good alternative to a weekly rental which is affordable. The owner needs to recognize that his own employee Bob is the main reason you like to stay there, he’s a good person and, hard worker. It’s a decently clean place, not a 5 star place but clean and for a person needing a weekly affordable place in a nice area Royal Oak, l’d say ok!

For the price you you could not do better. You get a decent sized room with minimal noise from Woodward. The manager there, Bob, is a good guy and easy to deal with. The internet is only 5mb/s but you get a pretty solid connection.

Stayed more than once its in a popular area near a lot of eating places.||||Nice Very Good For the price Clean Stayed a few days remember it-e a business. also on a bus line Try it and maybe you will enjoy your stay!. its near the zoo many laundry room also snacks to buy on site shopping places.

The atmosphere is homey. The owner and her chef-in-the-making are sweet as pie. So far everything I've had to eat has been prepared well and very tasty. The burgers and shakes are still my favorites. By now you've probably guessed I'm talking about Monty's Grill, not the motel. The motel is not the Ritz, but I would stay there just because it's attached to Monty's.

This place is awesome. $200 for a week cheapest rate I found in Detroit or Grand Rapids. The rooms are clean there is a microwave there is a decent sized refrigerator there's a little sink in a little kitchen area. They make it a point to come in and clean and inspect the room for bugs once a week. There are security cameras everywhere there are lights outside at night everywhere very very secure. The staff is very polite and attentive in particular the day guy Mike he rocked. The attached restaurant is good I don't know why so many reviews just rate the restaurant I don't know why people post reviews that did not stay at the motel but just have gone to the restaurant their opinion is irrelevant. Oh and by the way no roaches no bed bugs. Decent cable TV flat screen good TV. The Wi-Fi works pretty good not 100% but pretty good. Laundry facility and vending machine with soda pop on site. I have stayed in a few cheap motels in Grand Rapids and Detroit this is by far the best of any of them. I would have given this place five stars except for the owner is rude.

Clean sheets, friendly front desk, up front rules for your stay. This is less like a motel/hotel and more like staying at grandma's house. You agree to a set of rules, you abide by those rules, everything will be perfect. I have a stack of TP rolls, I have enough soap to last a month after only paying for 7 days. WiFi works well and is fast, the staff is to the point and protective of it's guests. My room was cleaned very thoroughly and made tidy. I don't smoke personally, however if you would like to, it's an option for your room if you agree not to do it while in bed, very reasonable. Xfinity channels, multiple desk workstations. Monty's restaurant is attached to the Motel and it has 5 star reviews for the quality of food and the level of service. If you can find vacancy here, you better take it! For me, I found a home when I had none. I'm so very grateful.

It's a clean place I stay here often I think it's a very nice place the owner's a wonderful man and staff is very helpful I've had no negative experiences they go out of their way to accommodate I've never even seen one bug here and I was here when the dog came through and he's never found a bug in my rooms!!! What are the best things about the motel is Monty's Grill it's inexpensive large portions and nothing but fresh food probably the best burgers in Michigan!!!

All the amenities are good. However, the WiFi doesn't work at this time. Sometimes, there is stuff...for repairs on the sidewalk. The laundry is good. The restaurant is good but too expensive. The parking lot is good. The manager is great. The maintenance is great. The comfort, & general security is good. Some of the guests are nice & some are shady but all are in check for the most part.
