Seven Seas - Resort hotel in Daytona Beach - 2433 S Atlantic Ave, USA

Amazingly clean. The pool is being repaired. Because most of the units are timeshare, the same families come every year. It's awesome because they are always grilling out or playing cards or playing music. It within walking distance of the Denver Diner for breakfast and you have your own kitchen. Clean sheets, a clean place to lay your head, the beach, and in the middle of everything. Rent bikes and ride to the lighthouse for lunch......so fun.

One may recall the story of Alice in Wonderland. It depicts a young lady who saw very unusual things: large was small, small was large, and all sorts of distortions were recorded. This is the case with Seven Seas. To be honest, I was initially hesitant about beginning my stay at Seven Seas. There were reviews that were unflattering to say the least. The reality is completely different. We had a very pleasant stay in a clean unit that has provided everything we needed for a terrific visit. The view out our window was a spectacular vista of the ocean, service was top-notch, and the proximity to shops, restaurants, and services was outstanding. I would like to thank the proprietors of Seven Seas for their dedication to making our stay comfortable. I know that there are transitions that are taking place to ensure that the property is up to standard. It is evident that progress is being made on a daily basis. My advice is to weigh what is important veersus having a desire to make unnecessary complaints.. staying positive will enable one to reap the benefits of fun and relaxation! Room 303 had a fabulous view, but that was the only good thing I can say. The unit had a spiral staircase in the kitchen up to the master bedroom. If you had anything bigger than an overnight bag, it would be extremely difficult to get it up there and hold on to the handrail at the same time. Large people should not rent this unit because the spiral staircase is narrow. The air-conditioning unit upstairs is only accessible if you climb over a rail looking down below, and we used a tool leaning over the rail to access it. It rained the entire week, and we had a bucket and a pot catching water leaking from the upstairs loft, and the plaster buckled from water inside the wall. The beach has been washed away, so you can only go during low tide. Otherwise, the surf is splashing up against the sea wall. The pool and pool area is under construction and closed, and you can only access the beach from the hotel next door, but only during low tide. The cheap warped pots and pans are shedding the teflon. The only large burner on the stove is broken. You get NO paper towels or manual dishwasher detergent. You are required to vacuum the floors and clean the counters, stated in writing, or you will be charged $50 of the $250 you must leave at check-in via a credit card debit slip they take. Everything is dated in the unit. The front desk clerk is friendly and pleasant, but that doesn't overide the negatives. Found things to do by researching things to do on rainy days in Daytona. Won't be staying here again.

I will start with the positive.. the staff are very nice and the view is great. These condos need updated badly! The smell of mold walking right into condo, we had to get car freshener to put in air units for our stay. Coffee maker has mold inside and very old. Bed is a full size and very firm with 2 flat pillows so sleeping was rough. Shower pressure was great but shower curtain kept falling off the cheap hooks and is dirty. Towels are very rough and don't smell like they use detergent at all. Wifi works sometimes in and out every 5 mins or so. Overall I would not recommend. I was lucky enough to get a deal but I would never stay again. One last thing the beach access and pool are still being worked on since hurricane they don't seem to be going fast at all. You have to walk to the hotel next door and out their beech access. Slow connection won't allow me to add photos. Lol

I am writing this review sitting in our place here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The pool is broken. No beach access. The elevator is broken. I had to go out and purchase my own cleaning supplies because this place is absolutely disgusting. The customer service is not great. If you can find ANYWHERE else to go I would highly recommend it. They literally have signs out talking about how all the customers complain about the terrible mildew. This place needs to be bought out, bulldozed, and start over.

First unit moldy and dirty second unit better but still dirty . I will not go back . the staff was friendly. parking was very bad.I had to do extra cleaning so they wouldn't charge a 50 dollar cleaning fee . no handicap parking ,not ada compliant, tub was too high and very hard to get in and out of to shower .

Even though the swimming pool was still damaged from inclement weather, the overall stay was great. The condo was very clean, the staff was amazing and the accommodations were very nice. Hope to stay there again.

Nice place..expect the pool to not function because of construction second to hurricane damage but good location and clean although dated and a little tired..appropriate for 2 or 2 and half starc rating
