What an incredible find! From the moment we checked in the staff was so friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a glass of great champagne and then shown to our room which was really lovely (Seascape.) The ocean breeze was perfect and the bed, pillows, and all the accommodations were super classy and gorgeous all around. The location is absolutely perfect as well. It comes with a nice healthy breakfast and the only thing missing was the ability to have an espresso drink while enjoying the homemade goodies and fresh fruit (they have coffee but fussy me would love for them to invest in an espresso machine!) Gold stars all around and we can't wait to return!
The location is the best in Pacific Grove. Steps from Lovers Point and walking distance to the restaurants and shops in town makes this an unbeatable location. Service and the accommodations were also terrific. We stayed in the Sea View cottage as there were three of us on a mother-daughter trip and it was perfect. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of vegetarian options. This is also a great place to stay and explore the surrounding areas - Big Sur, Carmel, etc. If you want to be right on the water, this is the place to stay.
Positive: The location is fantastic, the view spectacular, the continental breakfast was phenomenal, and cookies at night - what a fun treat after a long day of playing. Negative: There was no refrigerator in the room. My husband has meds that need to be kept cold - we just had to keep getting ice. Not so much fun. I also tend to bring my own drinks on trips and I prefer to drink them cold.
Really lovely inn with an incredible location. We stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed the beautiful historic home. Many incredible stained glass windows. The lobby features a welcome reception and the view of the coastline will make you very happy to linger. All the staff were very personable and helpful. The breakfast room is equally beautiful in furnishings and views. We enjoyed the breakfasts and watching otters while drinking coffee! A beautiful destination for a relaxing stay in Pacific Grove.
Best bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at! Such a gorgeous location and building, with so much history (very cool books with old photos of the original owners and renovations over the years).
You simply cannot beat the breathtaking views and the proximity to lovers point, which is the most magical place to watch sunset and take in the sea otters having a ball.
Raelene at the front desk was especially delightful. She was so helpful, friendly and thorough during check in. Poured us a glass of champagne and welcomed us to wine happy hour (a free daily wine service they provide)! Such a cool and unexpected surprise. As she helped us find our room and get settled she got us excited for cookie time which was soon to follow. The treats never stopped coming!
The room, house, and garden were completely immaculate, and every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly and made sure all our need were met. Breakfast buffet was divine, the quiche was so delicate and delicious you could tell everything was made with love.
Highly recommend this place for a stop over if you are driving up the coast from Los Angeles to San Francisco. It breaks the trip up perfectly. Cute town to just walk around at night and take in all the historic houses. Felt totally safe and comfortable the whole visit!
These were beautiful accommodations right across the street from the water, wonderful views, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.
Wine and cookie hour was sweet treat. The breakfasts were super yummy and elegant. Staff was really helpful and attentive.
Friendly, responsive staff. Attention to detail on the premises. Grounds are well kept. Beds are very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Beautiful views, property location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of items.
The place itself is a collection of wood frame houses converted to being a place to stay. The whole set up is really relaxed and friendly. Despite being on the ocean drive it’s quiet, comfortable and a great location. Non fussy service and a good simple set up. Thoroughly recommend.

The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day
This restaurant was a rather choice in urgency. We arrived quite late in Monterey thus started late on food hunting. We didn't want to drive far so we chose the one with the most guests. We got decent food in big portions at fair prices. If you are n
Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary.
The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a ni
A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.
First time experiencing Maxâs grill and the food was out of this world! Definitely going to be a repeat customer whenever we pass through Pacific Grove/Monterey. Absolutely amazing customer service, beautiful and cozy atmosphere. 10/10 would recomm
Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.
