Stopped for some coffee and breakfast at 7 Embers Coffee. Very nice, family owned and run business. Kids help and do fantastic. They roast, getting and brew their own coffee which is very good! The old flannel shirt was good and one of the more popular drinks. Cafe mocha - simple but yummy. Food is delicious. Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich & Avocado toast were great!
I absolutely LOVE Seven Embers! The food is delicious- I’m able to get any sandwich on cloud bread (instead of gluten), which only has 3 ingredients and is a great option for my healthy eating. I so appreciate having options. I also love the drinks - real ingredients are used, like local maple syrup! I love yet another thing - the people and the environment! This is very important to me, as I enjoy supporting good people. The owners of Seven Embers are just that…wonderful people filled with such kindness. I always feel so welcome and usually find something to purchase in their cute lil’ shop right inside! I can’t recommend this place enough! You will LOVE! ❤️
Stopped here on a motorcycle trip from Chicago with a couple of my brothers. This is now one of my favorite coffee spots for sure. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, even the breakfast was amazing. When hours later we were still talking about the breakfast sandwich and wondering if the next day’s breakfast was going to be as good really says something. I am up here a few times a year and I will definitely be stopping in again. Thank you for the amazing coffee, breakfast and service, definitely a cut above the rest.
I love finding cute, delicious coffee shops in cities I’ve never been. They make you feel at home wherever you are. This place was so yummy and I love the decor. Their maple vanilla latte was amazing (perfect foam!) and the staff was so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Loved finding this coffee shop in the middle of our road trip back to the Twin Cities. Lots of seating, great staff and menu selection was 👍🏻 Their crystal jelly boba was a delicious variation from your average coffee shop selection. The matcha was also a good quality and not a pre-made mix.
How have I never been to Seven Embers? This place is a gem. Such a charming older building has been given a renewed purpose as the contemporary minimalist coffee shop that I’ve officially decided in my new favorite place. Lovely drink menu, which continues to expand, includes all your classic coffee faire, smoothies, matcha, chai, and boba (bubble tea). All the drinks are artfully and meticulously made, the service is friendly and the surroundings a delight. Don’t miss this spot!
We stopped in on our way out of Iron River after noticing that this was a recently opened local business in an old abandoned restaurant. In all honesty we had low expectations- but wanted to support the effort. Much to my amazement this was the best coffee I have ever had- Starbucks would never be able to compete! We came to get coffee three mornings in a row, and after telling my sister about the place she and her husband went and said it was the best coffee they ever had. The owner gave them a sample of his Peach, mango, banana & spinach smoothie and they said that it was fantastic too! I bought two bags of his coffee beans to bring back to Illinois. Super nice man, his children are learning how to help in the business- do yourself a favor and check this place out! AND now they serve breakfast and lunch. The breakfast sandwiches taste great!
The food and drinks were all fantastic. Decent selection of sugar free flavors. The staff was outgoing and helpful. The old dining and serving area have a lot of fun character. I would go out of my way to stop here in the future. The water is free, and so are the jokes.
One of my favorite stops in the Upper Peninsula. Outstanding friendly service. Warm cozy vibe. The coffees are delicious works of art. Our breakfast of Garden Gnome and Strawberry Fields Crepes was unexpected and scrumptious. Highly recommend a
I ain't old enough to legally purchase from here, so I'm not sure why it asked me to review it... but I do have a family member who works here (not saying who they are for privacy purposes). From what I've been told and what I heard from others, the
My friends and I could not possibly have been happier with the service provided by Alicia, Danielle, Carlos, Skunk Mike and Yasi! They were accommodating of our large group size, helped us all find everything we needed, and were just a blast to inter
Michelle saved my life! I screwed everything up and she worked her magic and fixed it all. All with a smile on her face. Holly was also helpful and friendly. Thank goodness for this store and these wonderful ladies!
They were able to make me a beautiful floral arrangement within just a few minutes of me asking for what I wanted. Such incredible work and awesome vibes from this place!!! Seems like there's a little bit of something for everyone (:
We have been staying here for years when we come to the UP for fishing, hunting and visiting friends. It's not a fancy chain motel. But if you're looking for a nice, clean, quiet place to stay on a beautiful little northern lake in the center of UP r
Amazing menus! Great selection of subs. The "1 was delicious. The #44 had the best flavor I've had in a long time! The Cuban was a homerun of flavors. Soft delicious breads! Next time, we will try Scott's pizzas because the frozen ones looked good!
It's always a good day when "The Stand" is open! Love the ice cream, the burgers are amazing and the service is always with a smile! Love the outside tables, too.
