Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana - Pizza restaurant in Oxnard - 2760 Seaglass Way, USA

We wanted a more sit down dinner than we have been having and tried this place. Had some very tasty wood fired pizzas - a marinara with arugula and a capricciosa. Both were great with a nice chewy dough and they came out quick.

I'm from NYC and since transplanting to SoCal in 1980, I have only been to a handful of places that serve pizza that is passable as NY style and flavor of pizza. THIS is one of those places. The fact that the pizza is thin, baked in a flame oven, and uses crushed tomatoes instead of canned sauce make a huge difference in flavor!. The crust is bubbled from the fire oven baking, there are some crust part that are "burnt", but that all adds to the genuine flavor. They have a decent selection of toppings but I stuck with the Margherita pizza with its fresh basil and I don't regret it. They seem to have a great salad and antipasto selection, i did not try any, but i definitely will. My server Chris was very helpful with beer selection and lunch specials. I am for sure coming back with my wife and friends.

What more can you ask for but good pizza with great service. My pizza was a little saltier than I remember but fresh, and delicious. Service was very attentive and food came out fairly quickly, which was surprising due to how packed it was in there. They do have an affordable happy hour that I'd implore everyone to take advantage of. I really can't wait to go again.

I had the Diavola Pizza and my husband and I shared the chicken salad. Everything was amazing 😍 BIL ordered the cheese platter and we all got to try some of it. A nice variety and delicious options. It included a fig jam that was so good.

Yummy mini pizzas... a little too saucy so order well done or less sauce. Ordered the beets salad which was very appetizing as well as visually appealing. Be sure you get there early Friday night; got really busy after 5. I definitely would eat there again!

Loved their happy hour! It runs everyday 3-6:30 pm, except Saturdays. Drinks and food for $7. The meatballs are excellent, as well as the pizzas. Waiter Lucas was super friendly and chill. Would eat here again!

My husband and I went to Settebello on Saturday night to enjoy an evening without our children. Luckily, when we got there it was a quiet Saturday and we were seated by our hostess right away, outside as we requested. There was only one other party seated in this area with us. We were told our server would be with us shortly. After 10 minutes a server came out and tended to the other party but did not once check on us or take our drink order. After another five minutes, the same server returned only to check on the other party again. My husband tried to get the server's attention. He made eye contact with us and then left. Disappointed, we left without ordering anything. It was more disappointing since it was a slow Saturday.

It was an interesting experience. We had dinner with the boys, including my baby nephew. The food was decent, but the pizza was not our typical flavor style we are conitioned too. We completely understood that portion prior to going. The arancini was amazing, especially if you put the fresh black pepper on it. The staff present was trying to cattery to our large food order before the happy hour ended, but would have preferred a couple of more check ins at the table once the food started to come in.
