I've been coming here since my niece was little..she loves it so do I. So much to do and big enough to wear her out lol
This is a very nice [but often busy] park with playground that is near the Seth Low Intermediate School 96 [in the 90's this school was known as the school with "bad/problematic/difficult kids"; I don't know how it fares these days]. There's a playground for the little kids where the mothers go to with strollers, chess tables where men play dominos and chess on, and there is also a public bathroom on the premises. B6 and B4 buses stop nearby and they this park has recently been renovated a bit.
This park is filled with my memories from 40 years ago. I have left the area but I walk through the park daily when I’m back to visit. There are so many people of different backgrounds and of every age group from newborns to the oldest seniors and they all have something to do. Every single corner of this park is used well and despite the summer heat and everyone exercising, the smell in the air is that of fresh showered 🧼 persons. 😯
Very big park. There is a running track. Handball courts. A lot of sitting benches. Chess tables. Bathroom available.
This park borders a variety of Brooklyn neighborhoods and serves as a great example of true community. Much of the park has been renovated since 2013. The last part to be unveiled is the new soccer field, track and outdoor gym which should be open by August 2017. In the meanwhile, the park offers basketball, handball, strolling, children's playgrounds, sprinklers and restrooms.
Nice park with variety of swings, however most of communities that come here, really do not take care of their trash. I saw sanitation people who cleanse area but most visitors do not care to keep the place clean. Since this pandemic and the parks reopened, the trash is just all over the place more than ever before.
Mixed feeling about this park, the playing grounds are nice and clean, has beatiful benches to seat and relax, the down part is the restrooms, really nasty and stinky, I almost vomited, it's really unbearable and I am a men, can't imagine what women go thought in those filthy bathrooms.
Best playground in this side of Brooklyn, has a few sections but note that there is not much shade but the water works for kids are always on all summer. In the morning and evening you have the group of mostly asian ladies leading group dances. Men playing cards. Handball court, b ball court. Multi purpose field good for soccer.

Perfect park to relax or take a walk. There also are play areas for kids and adults. Great views of the NYC skyline and waterway. This time of year is a bit chilly so bring a sweater or light jacket. Restrooms are across the street in the park but no
This park is packed with kids after school hours. It's great for kids who love a busy park. There are water features activated by 2 button timers. There is also a large turf in the back for football/soccer, which often has after-school sessions regul
Lovely new playground with climbing areas for toddlers and older kids. It has several water sprays for splashing in. There are drinking water fountains but no washrooms. It can be loud when a train rumbles overhead. The best part is that it's entirel
