This is a very good Art Center. Since I can remember they’ve been offering paid Art classes/courses throughout the year. Location is very convenient in the Shelley Lake Park grounds and it serves a large Raleigh area community.
I was disappointed. We went to there to see the gallery unfortunately it was closed because of dance party!? Also front desk lady asked us to come back week day! Little kids have school and they don’t like to go out after school!!!! So bad!
Actually I was here to hike the trail around lake Shelley at the Arts Center. A beautiful hike around the lake. Paved walkway, minimal hills.
So far both me and my daughter have each taken a class here and we love it. It's a beautiful place to walk around or bike. Such a gem to the community.
We absolutely enjoy our walks around Shelley Lake!
It’s a great public place from beginning to advanced artists. Even if you don’t know how to hold a paintbrush, there are people here who are more than willing to help. The scenery is beautiful around Shelly Lake. There is a 2 1/2 mile hike I think around the lake so if you wanna catch some beautiful scenery, you can always do that as an alternative.
Papermaking, printmaking, bookmaking, sewing, digital photography, historical photography(cyanotype), and much much more.
Love taking classes at Sertoma. Peter Marin's intro to painting and intro to drawing are awesome!

Yum! I got the cold brew and it was rich and robust and creamy without the need for milk or creamer to be added! I also nabbed the last croissant for the day and it has a lovely texture and flavor. Service was polite and the place felt clean. I enjo
