Hold up, this is super crazy!!! This place is the most unassuming off the beaten path pizza joint with roots in Sicily. And you know it when you stuff that food in your face hole!! I am not a pizza guy, but there pizza is amazing and no wonder its voted best in St Louis. I ordered quite a bit and am happy with it all, especially the baked Lasagna. I cant rave about this spot enough. And all the recommendations the server gave me were 100% perfect. 10/10 must try this place....
What a pleasant surprise trying this place was, it has a real family-owned vibe on the interior(not a negative just an observation), but the pizza is something special. If you don't like St. Louis style pizza you won't like this pizza, but if you do this is one of the best examples of the pizza type that I've had. Also has a full bar which is cool too. I will definitely be back.
Here for business and saw this on google looking for dinner. I AM SO HAPPY I DID. Its such a cute little spot family owned and you can tell! The pizza was super good, a little different since they use provolone but a great taste! Also got a canoli and toasted ravoli and im one happy camper! Will absolutely be going back to try more!
The wait was horrible and the pizza was not worth it . The pizza tasted like they use american sliced cheese. It was so dry we didn’t even taste the sauce.
I didn't hate this place I just didn't like the way they didn't have any business but us and so they started closing down around us cleaning spraying vacuuming not cool while we were eating not sanitary to sweep and vacuum around people while they're trying to eat seriously and you've been there a long time you should know better The pizza was good while it was hot wasn't good to reheat It was just okay m a s s a s was much better The picture below is on Lindbergh massas
Serra's is a much acclaimed pizza restaurant in St Louis, and we arrived there this afternoon hungry and ready to eat some delicious pizza. We were HIGHLY disappointed. Though our server came to take our order in a reasonable amount of time, it took FOREVER for our food to start arriving. (I say "start arriving" because the food that did come came out one dish at a time... slowly.) Other people, who arrived after us, received their food as ours continued to come out with long spaces in between. These were the non-pizza dishes... (mediocre) pasta, burgers. Over an hour passed and still no pizza. Eventually, after an hour and half, those who had ordered pizza asked for theirs in to-go boxes since everyone else had finished. At that point our server brought the check, rang our card through, and then told us that our pizzas HAD JUST GONE IN THE OVEN. We had been in the restaurant for an hour and 45 minutes by then. We spoke to the manager and they refunded our card, for the price of the entire meal, which was the only saving grace about the whole experience. We did leave without getting any of their famed pizza.
The pizza is usually great. However, their waits are horrible. Ordered carryout online at 4. Had to be one of the first orders since that's when you're allowed to start placing orders. The site said 60 to 90 minutes. Kind of a large range there and no notifications for when it's done. Show up around the 75 minute mark hoping it would be done and was told it would be another 35 minutes. Christ. That's 2 hours for one pizza. Good luck folks.
Service was great, pizza is worth the wait. It comes out hot and fresh. I’d definitely recommend.
