First time visiting Chow and we will definitely be back! They have some really fun features right now for Halloween, including a rum punch that comes out looking like a witch's cauldron complete with smoke thanks to some dry ice. We had the cheese curds (awesome) for an appetizer. Entrees were the Lemon Pepper Walleye, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and the kid's Chicken Tenders. The walleye had fantastic flavor! The risotto that comes with it was decent but could use a bit more seasoning - still good though. The Alfredo was delicious!!! Alfredo can be a bit bland but with the red peppers and broccoli, this was very good. The service was great!!! We were here on a Friday night and never had to wonder where our server was or how long the food would take. It was a little spendy for 2 adults and 1 child ($91 before tip) so not somewhere we could frequent but absolutely somewhere we will return!

Update: Dined again here tonight and the food continues to be delicious and the service attentive. Their hours have changed post pandemic. __________________________________________ Delicious BBQ place, the food is always fantastic and the service is typically very good as well. Highly recommend the brisket, Arancini, and burgers. I don't even like brisket but I recommend it here.

We visited Chow on a Friday night. While it took us a few extra minutes to get initial service, the team made up for it after they realized we had waited the extra time. (Note: we did not complain.) Our food was expedited and we had a quick visit from the owner. Top-notch service. The smoked chicken and prime rib were delicious. I am looking forward to going back to try their Sunday brunch!

Appetizer was the walleye cakes. I thought they were good, wife didn't like them. Mostly breading, but had a nice spicy kick. Ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich with parmesan garlic fries. Nothing too special about the sandwich, was good. Always seems like a waste to get the upcharge for the extra flavor on fries. One of these days I'll remember. Fries were not very good. Seemed like they got a poor batch of potatoes. Many dark spots, not crispy, very limp. I'll pop the leftover fries in the air fryer. Hopefully that will improve them.

Super cool place, loved everything about it. The food was amazing, the chefs really know what they're doing in the kitchen. Atmosphere is great, very comfortable and super friendly servers! I'm most likely gonna come back and I'm definitely recommending this place! We ordered the cajun walleye and the fresno hot wings. The wings were not as hot as my husband expected but they were still some of the best tasting wings he's had.

The steak we had was so good! The atmosphere is great and the service good. They have amazing cocktails and as I said, the ribeye is a must try! We will be back for sure!

The staff was friendly and helpful in giving us dinner options. The menu has some unique options I've never tried. I was pleased with the smoked chicken. I am not sure I've seen a restaurant this immaculate. Our family had a good time and left filling full filed. We will come back soon!

Been a long standing customer for years. I have a feeling something is up, menu has shrunk, no seasonal changes like they originally had.(this is what made me love this place originally). Very limited hours. Average service. Seems like they gave up trying. Why is it Maynards is always jam packed, yet they have competition close by? I really hope things change fast! We need restaurants like this in the Elk River/Big Lake area...
