Sergio's - Italian restaurant in Massapequa - 5422 Merrick Rd, USA

The food was so horrible. The baked clams were dry, tasted like they were cooked & recooked. Had a sour taste. My meal was barely warm. Even the garlic bread had no taste. If I wasn’t there attending a party, I would have walked out without paying. Just horrible.

Be sure to ask for the early bird special: four courses, soup, salad, entre w/spaghetti & veggies, desert with coffee and a glass of wine, all for $20. (Price shown on the menu is from five years ago) Ask for Mike.

Went there on November 23rd, 2023 for the 3rd straight year of going to this restaurant on Thanksgiving. But despite our reluctance, we were seated in a dining room where an untalented lounge lizard performed songs at an overbearing loud level. Making it impossible to have a conversation at our table and it ruined the dining experience. This was our 3rd Thanksgiving at this restaurant, but there won't be a 4th time.

I was there for a fundraiser a few weeks ago. The food was ok. The restaurant was very crowded. No one was at the bar for service most of the night. The parking lot is tiny. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because it wasn't their fault that the fundraiser made the restaurant overcrowded. I will try again on a regular night.

The food is delicious. The event nights with the vocal impressionists is awesome. Dinner and show, that’s really good, how do you beat it. Beyond that, the owner Mike is so nice and he makes you feel special. My husband and I will be regulars, especially on events nights. Lorraine

Absolutely wonderful dining experience; food and service were both terrific Sergio is an absolute sweetheart of a guy made us feel so welcome and truly went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our visit

Went for a Frank Sinatra tribute show and had a fabulous time. Food was good fried calamari was chewy that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Wait staff was very helpful with the exception That they forgot about my ice tea but it was busy so no big deal. Great night so much fun. Definitely going to go back probably for the Neil diamond show.

First time went there for the Elvis show by Steve Mitchell, would go back for the food and other entertainment! Our orders were taken promptly, and prepared and served without a long wait. Family atmosphere, personal attention, delicious Italian dishes make Sergio's one of the best restaurants around. It can feel crowded for a larger group of people, but it is very comfortable for a private party or a dinner for two.
