There was construction on the road so it was difficult to find the driveway but other than that it was great. The hotel was overlooking the road so it was quiet. Our room was in the second building furthest off the road so it was very quiet. We entered on the ground floor but the back of our room was actually on the second floor so we had a bit of a view. Very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a check in late fee 40$ if you check in later than 10:pm (I checked in at 12:00am)and they haven’t specified that fee on the website(on the website you can only see 20$ charge for late check out). I could have book another hotel according to my arrival flight if they posted check in late fee on the website . And the reception, the lady with glasses is extremely rude.!! Just because I ask another guest which arrived at the same time as me at the reception about the check in late fee, the receptionist was extremely mad accusing me of disturbing another guest, and violated my privacy by asking me rudely about the conversation content and threatened me of kicking me out of the hotel which I looked one month ago. I was here for vacation in Olympic national park, and she ruined my happy mood by threatening me. By the way, you better bring your own shower towel, cuz the shower towel they offered are very dirty and had some unknow stains. And I wear my own clothes while sleeping, the bedsheat are dark color which they might haven’t changed for a long time. Never had such a bad hotel experience.

Very very dated. Was clean enough and at least had a refrigerator and a microwave. But the place is musty. No chairs to sit on the outdoor balcony unless you use the inside chair and office chair, why have a balcony?||It was dicey getting in and out of the driveway, this is no fault of the facility, there is construction, but we almost had an accident arriving and exiting because of the blind corner created.||We were in the rooms farthest from the road and parking our car nearer the forest felt sketchy, but all parking near the building was taken.||No coffee, conveniently not working, or any even continental breakfast, and the outdoor pool is literally a swamp. Paid half as much the night before and at least got a minimal breakfast and toiletries.||So, if you have no other cheaper option and this is all that's left in your price range $200/night, and you don't mind staying in what feels like your grandmothers basement bedroom, then this is the place for you. It was a place like those B horror movies start.||I am sure in it's day, it was considered a nice choice, but years of cutting costs on upgrading etc. are taking their toll and I feel it is over priced as a low budget lodging.

The good: The owners are very nice and are clearly trying to keep a decent property. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one is probably the best deal for the price. Over the 4th of July weekend it was $149 compared to over $300 for the Red Lion Inn. Large rooms with sliding doors leading to a patio or a balcony. The bad: There are a number of rooms with long-term residents. No form of breakfast is provided. The rooms are dated and in need of updates. In one room, the shower rod was rusted, and there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower head. In another, the bathroom sink was chipped and rusting and the carpet was old and buckling in spots. Considering all the options, it isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. Normally, I would hesitate to pay this amount for a Marriott, but since there are no Marriotts on the Olympic Peninsula you have to settle for what is available.

Room needs major repairs. Ceiling water damage, outlet covered with duct tape, missing toilet paper holder. Bathroom in disrepair. Bed was comfortable and the room was large, but that was all it had going for it. Also the pool area was closed and it was a complete disaster.

The hotel clerk was rude on the phone and the substitute clerk once I arrived was not helpful at all and did not offer any internet either. No continental breakfast, room was seriously outdated, bathtub didn't even close to take a bath, flooring needed to be redone bathroom and room, door was wide open with no screen when I arrived and sheets were dirty with a boot footprint on them.

The door to the room had been kicked in at one time or another, the chain lock had been screwed back into the frame but no bolt at the end of it. The deadbolt didn't even work at all, you could see in the door frame where the the had been kicked in and not been repaired properly. When I asked the clerk the morning of our check out they didn't know anything about that and the manager or owner was nowhere to be found. I have photos and videos of it all.||Would have found another hotel to stay at but everything was booked within reasonable driving distance.

Location is great. The desk person started our check-in with an apology, so we should have known. The whole room needs to be updated. Our toilet seat was cracked, the door chain broken, bathroom rods rusted; not to mention the shower head. Don't expect a warm shower. Rug was sticky in spots, plus we found what we thought was the stick from a eaten corn dog on the floor by one of the beds. Made us question what effort went into cleaning the room. We did like the sliding back door to the little grass area.
