Septic Works of the Lowcountry - Featured Reviews (90)
Our septic tank on Wilmington Island was full (even though it had recently been pumped out), our existing drain field was not working, and other companies were not responding to my calls. Frank Schmitz of Septic Works of the Low Country DID respond and his sweet wife, Cameron, scheduled the installation of our new drain field as soon as practicable--after utilities were marked and the soil was tested. While avoiding dangerously low-hanging power lines, he removed three large tree stumps, replaced the top soil with four truck loads of special sand, installed 110' of pipe in the ground on a hill, replaced the top soil, and terraced the entire front yard. I would highly recommend Septic Works of the Low Country. They're local, responsive, family-owned, personable, and dependable. :-)
We had a great experience with Septic Works of the Lowcountry!
Our house kept flooding due to our drain fill being too full from tropical storm Debby. I called yesterday and at 8:00 this morning the company sent out someone to help us. Within an hour our septic tank was pumped and back in working order. The price for fixing it was reasonable and well worth every penny. I highly recommend "Septic Works of the Lowcountry"!

I have been having drainage issues with my septic for awhile. I was told by one company that I would need to redo my entire drain field and that is very costly. I wanted to get another opinion on the matter. I read about the TerraLift service and saw several great reviews about it. I thought that I would try that service. I called Septic Works and they came out the next day to do the service for me. Frank did the work for me and is very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and gave me good advice. I am calling Septic Works the next time I need any service for my septic. I highly recommend to anyone that needs any septic service done.
Following T.S. Debby’s heavy rain that soaked our septic field and disrupted our plumbing, we reached out to Cameron at Septic Works. They responded swiftly, fit us in the same day, and thoroughly explained our options before quickly resolving the issue. Frank was exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely cared about our situation. We highly recommend their services!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Septic Works of the Low Country for the second time in a year. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional service and the timely resolution of my septic issues.
Frank was out in November and pumped my tank, however that was a temporary solution. Home is 48 yrs old pushing septic system drain field life span. Frank came back out end of May and performed a terra lift on my septic drain field, effectively removing the troublesome build-up and restoring the proper functionality of my septic system.
From the moment I contacted Septic Works, their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident. Cameron promptly scheduled an appointment and Frank arrived at my property as promised. Frank is courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to my concerns. He took the time to explain the process, ensuring I had a clear understanding of the steps involved and the expected outcome. I really did not want to have to replace my entire drain field.
The terra lift procedure performed by Septic Works proved to be nothing short of remarkable. What truly impressed me was the speed at which Septic Works operated. Frank completed the entire process in a half day, ensuring minimal disruption to my daily routine.
I wholeheartedly recommend Septic Works of the Low Country to anyone in need of septic services. They have earned my highest praise, and I am grateful for their exceptional service.
Thank you, Septic Works of the Low Country, for resolving my septic issues efficiently and restoring upeace of mind.
Recently, I encountered septic tank and drain field issues at my property. After an unsatisfactory experience with another company, I reached out to Septic Works of the Lowcountry. Camerion scheduled a DrainField Terralift service for me. On the day of the appointment, despite inclement rainy weather, Frank, the owner, arrived to do the work. His professionalism, friendliness, and courteous demeanor immediately put me at ease. Frank took the time to thoroughly explain the Terralift technology and the process involved in fixing my septic system. What stood out was his attention to detail and his considerate approach to preserving the landscaping around the work area. By the end of the day, I was relieved to see my septic and drain field functioning properly again. The Terralift solution provided by Septic Works of the Lowcountry was not only effective but also significantly more affordable than a complete drain field replacement. A huge thank you to Frank and Cameron for their exceptional service and for saving me thousands of dollars.
Inherited an old house with ancient septic system, with the access under the rear deck. The septic tank was full and we called several pumping companies and only found one that could respond in a timely manner. However, because of the the location of the lid, they could not access the tank to pump it. After a few more calls I was referred to Frank from Septic Works of the Low Country. He and his partner arrived as scheduled. Frank cut an access panel into the lid and they successfully pumped the tank. Frank and his partner were very knowledgeable and professional. Going forward they will be our go-to septic service.
Septic works is amazing! I had an emergency pump for my septic and they were here the next morning!! They did an awesome job with everything! Highly recommend!
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
