I stayed here for two nights in the king suite with vineyard view. The view was amazing. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also very clean and large. The heated floors and fireplace are a plus. The bed was comfortable. I had a great time in Napa and this hotel was the cherry on top. The service was good. The staff is friendly. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a romantic getaway. I’ll have to come back with my husband next time!
The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was also nice. They didn’t have much of a pool or on site activities. I was also charged a resort fee of 45 dollars … cmon it was nice but no resort , I thought it was a money grab. Would I stay again, maybe but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list.
We loved our stay at Senza! It is a beautiful hotel and very well managed, the staff was very professional and helpful when needed. We had a room in the Hall building with the vineyard right outside of our balcony. The hotel is in a great location since it's between downtown Napa and the main wineries.
From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, the Senza provided us with a great experience. The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. The room was large and well appointed. I highly recommend the Senza for your next stay in Napa.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms and hotel grounds were beautiful. The pool was great and the hot tub was perfect - very hot and relaxing. We saw some recent reviews that said the pool wasn’t clean, but that wasn’t our experience at all. Maybe they reviewed the wrong hotel. Everything about our stay was perfect. We will definitely come back again.
We had a lovely stay in the Senza Suite. Room was spacious and comfy. There are 2 tvs, one in front of the bed and one in the living room. The bed is slightly too hard for my taste but not uncomfortable, the pillows were great though. The fireplace is a nice touch. Bathroom and shower were very nice but there's no bath if you're looking for that. You have your own private sitting area outside that's partially hidden by the vines so it feels secluded and steps away from one of their fire pits that overlook the vineyard and offers beautiful sunsets. We ended up sitting there more than our private patio. The pool and hot tub were nice and they have comfy cabana seating at the pool. I didn't use the gym but had a look inside, it's small but has everything you need for about 2 people. We didn't use any spa services. They have a corn hole board set up near the dining room and we stopped and played on the way to our room every day. The breakfast was fine, not a huge standout. Options were about $9 - $15 and you could pay with card or charge to your room. It would be nice if they offered a free continental breakfast though. There is a free coffee bar but only while breakfast is running. Again, it would be nice if they offered that all day. You have a few nespresso pods in the room but we're big coffee drinkers. We never tried dinner there so not sure how that is. However, you can walk down the street to Bistro Don Giovanni which is a local favourite and is divine. They have an adorable patio surrounded by the vineyard with fountains and twinkle lights and plenty of seating. Definitely a bonus of staying at Senza. As far as location, it was pretty perfect. We had a car so we could easily drive into downtown Napa, about 5 minutes, and it's just off the main highway that runs up into Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena, etc, so easy to get around. Since we were close to Napa/Silverado it was easy for us to get Lyfts to wineries around there from Senza. One day we only went to wineries on Silverado Trail and had no issues getting lyfts to and from Senza. The next day our first stop was up in Rutherford and we struggled to get one from Senza since it's a little further away. However, we just scheduled them after that and had no issues. We went in late July/early Aug and was unusually quiet. You might have problems getting rides if it's busier. We never had any noise issues being next to the highway, it's sheltered enough that it's private and quiet. Would stay again!
We enjoyed our stay back in 2019. We had a really nice experience. We loved the complimentary breakfast and mimosas in the morning. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Because of this, we decided to rebook with the thought that we would have a similar experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
With the new management, we have discovered there is now no complimentary breakfast or mimosas. The afternoon wine that was offered in our past stay is no longer available.
The pool was not cleaned and had a lot of debris and bugs floating around.
The front desk staff were not welcoming when we checked in nor when we checked out. It seemed as though the front desk staff were not trained.
They emailed us a week in advance asking if we wanted to check in early once we arrived. I emailed them back and said yes, but never received a response. I called a couple days later and they said to call at 10:00am the day of our stay. I followed their instructions and called at 10:00am sharp to see if the room was ready, but was told that it was not. I then asked them if they could call me when our room will be available. To our dismay, they never called us.
We arrived at 3:00pm and were given our room keys to a king suite with a pull out bed. When we walked into our room, everything was in order except the pull out bed was not made. This was upsetting because when we made the reservations, we informed them that there will be 3 adults and 1 baby. It was crucial to have the pull out bed ready because our baby needed to nap after the long drive. We called the front desk to once again ask that the pull out bed be made. After waiting for some time with a very cranky baby, no one showed up. So we then walked over to the cleaning staff ourselves and asked them directly, they said they would come right away and they did.
The cleaning staff were very friendly, thankfully.
We were so disappointed at how different our stay was compared to how it was when it was under the original management.
I would not recommend this hotel. It is not worth the $750 to $1000 price tag. There are several other places in Napa/Yountville that are more worth that price and a way better bang for your buck.
In all my over 30 years of travel I don’t think I’ve experienced worse value. I specifically booked a place with a pool and vineyard views after a long road trip and all I got is main road noise. Pool under construction and no vineyard views to be found even after an upgrade to “vineyard views”. Leave the door or window open and all you get is noise from the main road.
The rooms look nice, and that’s just about the only positive. Noisy AC kept waking us up. No breakfast. Purchased a dry banana bread and that was the end of that experiment. Over $600 a night wasted
Absolutely beautiful. The rooms were gorgeous and remodeled. It was quiet and cozy. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing & we loved the heated floors! The housekeepers tidied for us and did a fantastic job of it. The breakfast was fresh
Incredible experience staying here. Absolutely top notch service and facilities. The grounds are beautiful, the room was amazing, the soaking tub and fireplace were perfect, couldnât have asked for a better experience. Breakfast was delicious. Trul
This is the perfect hotel for when youâre visiting Napa and your focus is on the wine. Itâs everything it needs to be to have a very enjoyable stay - clean/organized, friendly staff, continental breakfast. Plus, in the evenings the whole place sm
I organized my wifeâs 50th birthday for appetizers, dinner and overnight. The event planning team was incredibly responsive. The attention to detail was outstanding, everything from the welcome desk , to the birthday cake in the room, to the champ
Our driver suggested having drinks at the Archer Hotel before going to dinner. Grab a cocktail at the rooftop bar and enjoy the view! Fabulous outdoor lounge area with large fire pits. Met a few new friends and had great conversations. Highly recomme
I was a little weary of joining due to my lack of experience and also toxic gym culture. I experienced nothing but the best here. The front desk staff are very kind and welcoming and Coach Courtney knows what shes doing. I love that they offer modifi
