Sentinel Peak RV Park - RV park in Tucson - 450 N Grande Ave, USA

A good place to stay, although it’s not really very close to downtown or the university. However, there are great mom-and-pop restaurants in the area. The area where the campsite is located is a rough part of town. On Saturday, the gate was left open well past sundown. That night, there were two people in the clubhouse that didn’t appear to be campers. In the lady’s room there was a hypodermic needle on the floor and something that appeared to be drug residue on the sink. Fortunately, my wife didn’t go there alone. Contacted management the next morning, but i didn’t get the sense that this was unusual. Would probably stay again, but we’ll be more aware of nighttime visitors.

Small park with nice sites and lots of services including a small pool and club house with pool table, TV, and games. Never saw any people in the office but questions were quickly answered by phone. Great location less than 2 miles from downtown and a mile from I-10. Some traffic noise from Grande but not bad. Only negative was lousy wifi service that could not support streaming.

Booked an rv spot after-hours online and never received the code to get into the gate that was suppose to be sent via text. We had to walk through the gate and get it from another guest. They do not have a working phone line after hours. Terrible experience after a long day of driving to not have access to the place you paid for to sleep.

We book this campground under the impression that there would be showers. The web site lacks information about amenities. We have used many campgrounds during our two month trip and never encountered a campground without showers. When we arrived, the pool was not even cleaned, and the campground is small and not inviting at all, surrounded by fences and noise from the street in an area which is not recommended for tourists. I had prepaid the two nights of my planned stay. However, as we saw the place, we decided to go elsewhere where we had a nice campsite with all facilities for almost half the price few miles away. After negotiation, Sentinel finally accepted to reimburse me 50% of the total cost, meaning one night out of two. I definitely do not recommend this campground. First bad experience ever.

Was a nice fairly small RV park in the middle of the city. We only stayed 1 night but it was surprisingly less loud than expected. The pool was nice after arriving though a lot of ants near the pool. This place is pretty much a parking lot with a few plants and a pool and bathrooms /laundry and electricity. Could use some updates but over all the people staying were all nice and they were great with a last minute reservation at a reasonable price.

Quiet and clean park. Close to downtown and UA. Has nice security. Dog run might be small, but it works. The neighborhood is just fine and I felt perfectly comfortable walking my dogs down the street and in the park. Spots are a good size. Will stay here again!

This was our first stop on a very long road trip (CA to FL). We decided to stop in Tucson AZ for 2 nights to visit with friends and check out a few of the local places they either work at or recommend. This was the best rated RV park close to their home and in town. I felt safe as it was gated, and told it's not the best part of town. The office staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Our road trips are usually not planned and figure it out as we go. So we were able to book same day and they also offered a Good Sam discount. There aren't trees and no grass, but we didn't bring our pups on this trip, so it wasn't a big deal. The sites are a good size, back in and pull through sites are available. I am sure this won't be the first time we will stay, and I think we want to see more that AZ has to offer. If you are in the Tucson area and looking for a RV park, do check this one out if you want to be close to the night life.

We stayed here after having vehicle issues, and the camp host was just the kindest, most helpful person to work with. The actual park is small, but it was absolutely perfect for my family! I have two kids under 5, and they just LOVED the pool. It was absolutely perfect for us. The kids also loved the clubhouse, and the facility was so clean and well-kept. It was also very quiet, and I appreciated the fact that it was all gated in and fenced in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in an RV park in Tucson, and we will be back when we take our travel trailer down there again!
