It's a random small sandwhich place that when you walk in, you feel like you stepped back in time 40 years. Honestly, this place has some of THE BEST sandwiches that I have ever had. The quantity of food that you get is insane and the flavors are amazing. I'd highly recommend visiting.
Been going to this location since the 80's, always a bit nostalgic when I go. Went today with my mom and we got our usual. Might be a new generation serving us but they always seem to hire great people.
Good sandwiches for a reasonable price. The decorations in the restaurant are pretty funny. With that said, I didn’t enjoy the roast beef sandwich with barbecue sauce, the sauce totally overwhelmed the roast beef so it was more like a barbecue sauce sandwich. It’s great that you can get a wide range of sizes.
Sandwiches are good, but a year ago I recommended updating extremely warm and filthy carpet. I gave a low rating because of it. I don't like leaving lower rankings, but carpet is a quick, easy and relatively inexpensive update. It simply is unclean and unacceptable in my view. I will keep this rating for now until I learned that things have changed.
I’ve heard good things about this place but when I went I wasn’t impressed.
Bread felt microwaved yet rough, the place itself was rather gross (dirty and holes in walls)
It’s hard to justify going here and spending as much as it costs, when Subway and Firehouse are so close.
Not a bad spot if you're close to the convention center and looking for a sandwich. They tend to come out rather "wet" and kinda fall apart, so I would recommend asking for them to go a little light on the liquid? Overall, not a bad sandwich, and the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the meat portion is quote a bit better than say a Subway or other comparable place.
Where they miss for me is on the bread. They only have the single option, which seems to be a rather cheap white bread bun, and really no options for try ing anything else. It would be nice if they expanded this, as well as had some pictures or something to help with the decision making on which sandwich to try.
This place has been consistent for decades! There’s something to be said about that! My advice? Regardless of what sandwich you order, order it with “everything“! And, be sure to order it “hot“, not “cold.“ they heat it up just a tiny bit, and it is exactly the right amount to make it super flavorful! I love that the sandwiches are super moist. I have been going here for years and it never disappoints and it’s always consistent!
Super fun atmosphere! Love the comics on the tables and the walls! And even better, the sandwiches are to die for! I love how they just pile so much meat in their sandwiches and I love the bread they use! By far my favorite sandwich shop! They service is always friendly and kind. The prices are super good for how much food you get!
Fantastic trail. Super short hike. With lots of stops, it only took me an hour to get to the destination. Definitely worth your time and relatively easy!
This place is so fun! Cory and Alyssa were working the night and went and were so helpful. Cory gave us the rundown on the place and both employees made rounds giving everyone tips on how to hit the target better. After our session we went upstairs a
The road leading up is narrow, but fits two cars and is paved all the way to the lookout. The lookout offers incredible views over the valley and Utah Lake and is amazing at sunset. There is a trail leading south from the overlook along the mountain
Yummm! Actually real Polynesian food! Yes it tastes amazing and YES you need to try it. Lots to eat and get filled up on. Coconut cake is soooo good. The Kalua Chicken, teriyaki chicken, ribsâ¦.. this just melts in your mouth.
It is West of the Pro
Love the Bean Museum! Such beautiful animals. They just opened up the new Utah exhibit too! Last time I was there, they had just begun. I had a fun time going to their opening night event, and won a little prize:
