Sensory Butterfly Garden - Botanical garden in DeLand - 230 N Stone St, USA

Hubby and I went it was nice I wasn’t sure it first if we would get to see the butterfly’s I was pleasantly surprised we seen quite a few. It’s a small but nice garden. We enjoyed it.

the Butterfly Sanctuary is quite small and, unfortunately, i didn’t see any butterflies other than the large sculpture. there’s a pathway to walk through the small garden + a bench to sit at and enjoy the view.

The Park was a beautiful oasis, lined with a variety of flowers and foliage. A portion of it is set up for interaction -touching, smelling, etc, clearly labeled. The rest is for viewing the butterflies and bees. Also included are benches and a water feature. It was a very wonderful way to spend some time.

Always relaxing & has separate parking than playground. Even when pavilions are full of birthday parties the garden area is quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful area of a great park! Nice place to sit and see many varieties of butterfly and flowers. Fountain makes a lovely background sound

Is not in good condition... Nothing like the photos. All though it was a good experience because there were lots of butterflies around... is small and it need mantaince.

They did a really great job of making this a beautiful garden. The flowers are in bloom right now (August) and the butterfly's are a plenty, all monarchs. Which is perfect for DeLand being the monarch capital!
