This is my go to lunch spot as they're fast, fresh, and a great value!
Staff is casual and friendly.
I really appreciate the generous cuts of fish. I think the sushi chefs do a great job for such quick service model.
As with any conveyorbelt sushi, there's a chance you get something that has been sitting a while. I can generally discern that (and I know my faves), so I've only had good experiences.
Really excellent experience! Started with delicious hot green tea, then some creamy scallops which were huge and plump and delicious, then omakase sashimi pictured here which was absolutely fresh and delicious and extremely generous. The train dishes were really good too, much better quality and bigger portions than most places. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommended.
Excellent place, highly recommend. Unique and exclusive choices of fresh seafood. The Vegas roll was sooo delicious. Trustworthy place and will gladly come again. Even if you don’t enjoy sushi, try this place out and it will make you fall in love with it. The flavors and freshness can’t be beat.
We really love Sensei. You can ask for anything you want, and they'll make 3 or 4 and put the others on the conveyor belt. Then if someone orders something that looks good to you, you can snag it when it comes around the belt! It's fun and the sushi is always really good. The value compared to other sushi places around always shocks me. It's fresh, trustworthy fish prepared well, it's just a lot cheaper! Definitely check them out.
The food is amazing, the prices are decent! Staff is nice and attentive! I recommend this place! We came 30 mins before close and it didn’t look like the sushi chef was slowing down or ready to close! It’s clean and nice Portland location! We all were really satisfied with the food and the service! Good selection on the belt and the menu is nice and clear! Thanks Sensei Sushi Bar and Grill!
I've been twice and the second time wasn't as great as I had remembered. The food wasn't bad, but it was just lacking flavor. Something about the eel sauce tasted kinda cheap too.
But it's convenient and I'll definitely go back at some point.
Great place for a quick bite. I work nearby and regularly slam a few plates of sushi for a quick lunch. Time before last when I was in there, they had Blazing Saddles playing on the TV, and you definitely can't argue with that - that locked the 5/5 atmosphere for me.
Not much to say here, the sushi wasn't that good... They have a happy hour if you order any drink it drops the sushi price to $2.10, I think. Most of the sushi I ordered was ok. The last red plate I grabbed, did not taste good and I decided not too finish eating it.

I've been here several times. The sushi is always fresh, tasty and plentiful! It's a family run operation and I usually have a lovely conversation while waiting for my food. They are very hospitable and welcoming. Would highly recommend.
The food was fresh and delicious! There was only one employee seating folks, cooking and clearing tables on a busy Saturday. I felt so bad for him but he did an amazing job.

Seriously the freshest and tastier sushi I found in Portland! Loved the Chirachi Bowl I got, came with salmon, tuna, white fish, shrimp, octopus, avocado and a few other stuff. Lots of rice too, good portion for the price! Canât wait to try more th
Love this place for it's super sized sushi. I'm grateful they now offer a take out option because seating is limited and the wait can be very long. The sushi here is BIG. If you're looking for the traditional one bite sushi this is NOT it. The rolls

I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point.
Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
The cart weâve needed! Rich flavors with the creamiest mac n cheese and mashed potatoes (my fave). Donât sleep on the desserts either. Somehow tastes even better as leftovers!
