My husband and I spent three nights at Seneca Sol — we had a lovely time! It was an outstanding first glamping experience. It’s perfectly located, close to wineries, breweries, great waterfall/gorge hikes and food. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well appointed, and we enjoyed the nightly camp fires and the convenience of light breakfast/coffee each morning.
A group of 5 of us stayed in the Alpaca Guesthouse. The guesthouse was more spacious than the pictures made it appear. It was very clean with plenty of space for us. The bonus was the alpacas right outside. The property is set back from the road and a short drive from town. Christine is very friendly and easy to get ahold of with any questions. We had also added on the wine tour. The wineries Christine selected were wonderful and her selection for lunch was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend staying at Seneca Sol.
Great little spot. First time Glamping but it was great - felt like a safari or something - tent space was very large. We actually lost power the first morning from a big T Storm and the hosts ran around town early morning getting coffee and breakfast so that we didn’t even notice. Very close to everything we wanted to do.
This was an exceptionally clean tent and bathhouse! The host was so sweet, and her kittens were around all day. We had a blast playing with them. We stayed for two days during the week. The glampground is very close to Watkins Glen. We were able to hike the Glen, get great food nearby, go on a boat trip and even go to a winery. The check-in tent has a refrigerator, so we were able to keep our leftovers. The breakfast was wonderful with warm, homemade pastries, lovely local coffee, and a cereal and yogurt bar. There was a campfire with smores each night, and the woods were so quiet. It really is lovely. If I had to warn you of anything, it would be that the bathrooms were a little far from our tent, like... a 3 min walk, so we would have had to walk a ways in the dark, if we had to go during the night.
Stayed there this past weekend for a Women's Retreat. Everything about Seneca Sol is pure magic. The tents are spacious and glamorous, bathhouse pristine, and the land beautiful. The owners make you feel like family. I can't wait to return! What a gem!
What an experience! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was perfect. First off, the property is beautiful, almost as beautiful as the drive into the town. Slightly tucked away from town, this resort will give you the privacy and comfort you seek. Upon arrival, we were led to our tent/palace and explained the overlay. Such a beautiful location, one could spend the entire time there. We were even offered the opportunity to catch an alpaca! The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the view was what we needed. You will find everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning with fresh coffee/tea if that's what you want. Bathrooms and shower blew us away! I'm used to camping and making due, but this was on another level. I truly get the definition of glamping after staying here. You are awarded every every comfort you expect from home. I have so much to say of the attractions and surrounding areas, but seneca sol was the highlight. Too much to mention! Fire pit is made for you every night, smore kit included. Fresh towels in the bathroom every day. Shower facilities climate controlled. This place is perfect. I cannot stress this enough.
This was my first time glamping. Had a great experience. The site had the amenities but provided a camping experience as well. This location is also great - just 15 minutes away from restaurants and stores.
Absolutely loved everything about this place. Our tent was spacious and spotless and super comfy for our family of four. We stayed in October, so the nights were cool, but we were so warm and cozy inside. We loved spending our days hiking and our evenings around the campfire toasting marshmallows and strumming the guitar. Also loved the wineries and breweries in the area. We loved the paths back to the tents and around the perimeter. The bathrooms/showers are amazing - such a nice treat after hiking all day to come back to a warm, private shower. Can't wait to stay here again. HIGHLY recommend.

Great place to hike or camp. Please take care to remove any items you bring with you, even if you think they are "natural". This visit to the forest was spent picking up other people's garbage while volunteering and it is sad to see what people lea
