Seneca Golf Course - Public golf course in Broadview Heights - 975 Metropolitan Park Dr, USA

This is a nice golf course with reasonable fees. They have a pro shop and cafe. The employees are friendly and helpful. The building is clean and well organized. The course is not the smoothest when you are driving the golf cart around. The fairways a little rough too. The holes are well marked. The area is surrounded by beautiful trees in the fall which makes it very picturesque. We had a good time there.

Carts are not good. Ours died on 4. Had high hopes, as the other metro courses we’ve played are great. Way too many people on course. Leave your golf hat at home, and bring a hard hat! Tees are badly sloped, hard and not mowed. Greens are also long and very slow, lots of bumps, not breaks, bumps. Cups were torn up. The fairways also very long, like hitting out of the rough at most courses. Would not play again, and won’t be back.

Review edit, I was whiny about our 4-some being stuck between 2 twosomes. Sometimes you get no-shows. This was the first time that I have played here since the remodel. I loved it! The course is in great shape. Bunkers are really well maintained for a city course.

Was a nice course well maintained. Not your typical metro park course, when i think metro park i think of a welcoming course for all golfers. This course was not welcoming at all. Club house staff was great, extremely nice. Cart guy, starter and the guy i like to call the course Marshall were extremely rude and arrogant. If i was a beginner golfer I’d be very discouraged playing at a place where you’re disrespected. It was 90 degrees on fairways, which we were doing, carts were far away from greens. Course Marshall came up told us not to go on fairways. Not a problem but then he followed us 3 holes to ensure we weren’t, uncalled for and very discomforting. The four sum we had play 2-3 times a week at courses all over, shot low 40s at senaca for 9. We definitely aren’t scratch golfers but we play cart golf and i have never been at a place where it seemed like they didn’t want you on the course. Disappointed overall but if that stuff doesn’t bother you then it’s a well maintained and good course. Don’t recommend for people just starting to golf.

The course is always in good shape, and the staff friendly. The pace of play can be erratic at times, but it is still one of my favorite metro park courses.

Another great value from the Cleveland metro parks. You have 27 holes of beautifully maintained golf at a very reasonable price.
