Seminole County Public Library - Jean Rhein Central Branch - Public library in Casselberry - 215 N Oxford Rd, USA

I am posting on behalf of my sweet cousin. This library has been a safe place for her for so many years. Today she worked up the courage to go by herself hoping to have some alone time to read her book in peace. She was sitting by herself on the floor away from people not bothering anyone. She has special needs and cannot be around people, so she found a nice spot in an isle away from everyone. Everything was okay for about an hour, and she was enjoying her time. She was then rudely interrupted by a bald white lady. This woman came up to my cousin and told her that she is not allowed to sit on the floor and that she needs to move over to a table. I cannot believe a library employee went out of their way to reprimand a girl sitting quietly by herself simply reading a book. My cousin left in tears and unfortunately does not feel like she can go back to this library that has been a safe place for years.

Very clean. I just wish there was a way for the homeless to use the facilities without taking up the time on the computers. They are trying to stay warm unfortunately people need to use the computers for business. There has got to be a happy compromise. Our government Rep/Dem are failing us with poverty 😞.

As far as public libraries are concerned, all are a great treasure to the community and this library is no exception. They have a huge offering of all books, the premises and facilities are well kept and attractive, and the staff is top notch talent who are very attentive and helpful.

Such a beautiful environment. I am honored and blessed to have a library card. The librarians are so kind, always excited to help you! Thank you all for what you do in the community. The two ladies near the back of the library on the highest floor are so eager to make sure all the crafts are amazing for the events in the near future. It brings me back in time to memories of my childhood years at a library in another state- oh, how much time and effort they did to develop my generations younger years. What great individuals to help brighten our future! The library is a great outlet to DISCOVER inner and outer! You all are appreciated and thank you for the LIGHT and positivity! 💡

This library is awesome. A great selection of in print books, tons of multimedia selections including mainstream movies and music. The actual building is gorgeous with lots of reading areas. Oversized chairs, very comfortable. The staff is phenomenal. Best of all is the near limitless digital collection including e-books, audio books, films and movies
