The lady at the front desk was very sweet, and the price of the room was cheap. However, I had to buy cleaning products to clean up my own room because it was disgusting. Nothing wiped down, not vacuumed, bedding and towels had mysterious stains, phone and several lamps in the room were unplugged, there were ashes on the top of the toilet and toilet seat, it reeked of smoke, and there were cigarette burn holes in all the blankets. (This was supposedly a non-smoking room) Also, room service opened my door without even knocking first.
We stayed there for one night with our dogs as part of a road trip throughout the South. We had pre-booked and pre-paid for a non-smoking room. Upon check-in we realized we were screwed because the room was beyond smoky and filthy and we had no other alternative because we had dogs. The bathroom smelled even worse so we just used the toilet not the shower. The beds were comfortable enough but I was coughing all night because of the smoke. I found a cigarette butt on the stained carpet and there were stains on the exposed mattress. There were cigarette burn holes on the bedspreads. We escaped at dawn with no desire to try their free breakfast.
Was not decent enough to rent out rooms. And, the room were not good enough for $70. Dead bugs on the floor, a shut up smell like no one had been in the rooms for at least a year. I understand there a remodeling going on but, let's present our Best Face when you have out of towners checking in. That's how you retain and keep business.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The bed sheets aren’t changed. Found condoms in one room. Puke in the floor. BLACK MOLD everywhere! The pictures must have been taken when they opened. The pool is black. It’s sad when the desk attendant has to use germ x on your room keys. Looks like they cleaned the mirrors with there spit. Air conditioner doesn’t work.
THEY SERVE BREAKFAST! The place is not ideal on looks, but they have a great price compared to their competition and you don't have to worry about breakfast. Basically, you get what you pay for. You get room service everyday, free self parking, and okay customer service. This is a great spot if you're on a budget or.just trying to get away for a few days. Again, they do serve breakfast for free if I remember correctly. Now it's not a super crazy buffet type of breakfast, you get what you pay for. They serve cereal, yogurt, cinnabon muffins, orange juice, bagels w/cream cheese, etc. However, if you don't make it on time to breakfast, you're just out of luck. Free warning! Thanks for reading this!
From top to bottom gross. Had no other choice but to spend three nights here due to hurricane Irma evacuations. Mold and flaking paint on the ceilings triggered my allergies. Toilet did NOT flush on its own EVEN AFTER maintenance guy claimed to have fixed it... pretty sure that's poop on the walls if you check the pics. We asked for non-smoking, THE SHOWER curtains still wreaked of cigarettes and the bed covers had cigarette burns on them. The keycard reader on the door never worked the first time. Five swipes to open. Only reason why there's one star on this review is because there's no zero star option. The truth: this was the best place in Selma.
Not recommended. The first room we were given had mouldy walls. After complaining we were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. After questioning whether it was a non-smoking room as we'd requested we were given a can of disinfectant spray. Cigarette burns in the bedclothes, dirty carpet, and other guests were noisy late at night.
Noticed that the parking lot was empty, checked in. Opened the room door and the odor was appalling. Smell like animals, returned to the front and was told to check out 2 other rooms toward the back. Both room were worse than the first one. I also noticed, No water was in the pool. I would not allow my dog to sleep in this hotel for the fear of fleas. Canceled reservations through booking site.
This was an horrible experience. When I got in the room it was too late and I was too tired to change rooms. Also, I clean my own room and use my own towels anyways, when I visit hotels. Their was no cable TV the whole week. I also went two days with
I love it. The food is soooo delicious. We stay for hours, it's so relaxing. And the drinks are the bomb. Get on up and go try it for yourself. Ask for Jessica Rush. She's very welcoming, and she fixes the best drinks. She is very good at her job.
Hey Y'all Hey!!! So Kam and I got the opportunity to do some Market Research at the Candy Lady. When I tell you that the Customer Service was Amazing. The prices were reasonable!!! She has available seating outside. She also has parking spots availab
Perfect amount of food for the inexpensive price and the flavor and taste is on point.... And its real food not that processed garbage we stop at daily... Save yourself the trouble of debating and go there your soul will thank you
A local favorite and must-try if youâre visiting Selma, Lannieâs is well-loved by Selmans and tourists alike and was recommended to us by everyone we spoke to. Their food comes out piping hot, tender and crispy! The bbq plates and catfish were a
I had dinner here recently and really enjoyed it. They have a dining side of the house and a lounge side of the house. We went to the lounge to enjoy the love music. It was very busy for a Thursday and the lounge side has the feel of a drive bar and
The food! The food! The food! Amazing, Delectable, and Delicious. When we were there we had to eat in the car (no inside dining); but the food is so good you will not mind ð
Great service! I went in and they were extremely busy but despite being overcrowded I was still greeted with tremendously superb service, a friendly face, and even though they were busy, very prompt service!
