This ended up being a favorite room on our summer road-trip. Despite the air-conditioning being off when we arrived (and the outside temps in triple digits) it cooled down quickly once we reset the breaker. The room was petite, but everything was impeccably clean and appeared to be recently updated. The bathroom was well appointed, and the jetted spa tub was a bonus. The bed was comfy, too! Within easy walking distances to resturants and shopping. We'll stay here again, for sure.
Mixed reviews on this one. The room was clean, the jetted tub was amazing and big enough for two people. Walking distance from good restaurants, or they always have the lime scooters around. The parking is a joke. Small parking lot. I know they can’t control people, however the amount of parking they do have they shouldn’t allow people to take up two spots. So many people parked with the parking line in the middle of their car. As my wife and I were getting ready to leave around 9:30 we got housekeeping knocking n in our door. This was on my wife and I as we did not put up the do not disturb sign up. Then a few minutes later another knock at our door from one of the owners asking if we are staying the night because they need to know because the have no availability. Check out is at 11:00. Why are kinda of rushing me to leave the room a hour and half before check out.The man working the front desk didn’t have the best customer service. The room itself is wonderful!
The room had no remote control. The spa tub was placed 2 fingers away from a refrigerator which raises serious safety concerns.
My bf saw a huge bear pop out in the hotel’s dumpster which was for sure not bear-proof. He walked back and talked with 2 other guys and they said their room also didn't have a remote??What a coincidence? This made me assume it is happening constantly.
We decided to stay another night to relax after our trip and we chose this and wanted to use the TV. Their office closes 10 P.M. and so there were no one to help us. What a bummer we only stay in one night and leaving tomorrow.
Room was clean and I liked the spa tub.
More than $400 for two nights in July for a shoebox room. This was a standard King with no hot tub or any other amenities.
Issues we faced within the few short hours we spent in the inn over 2 days:
1. No insulation whatsoever. Could hear every step, every word coming from above us and from outside our doors and windows. Really hard to sleep.
2. AC doesn't keep the room cool. It just couldn't consistently keep the room cool even at night.
3. Clogged sink. Just a day into our stay, the sink clogged completely. We had only used it to brush our teeth once.
4. Advertised as a no-noise-before noon hotel, this isn't true at all. Partially because of the poor insulation (mentioned in #1) but also because housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am and yelled through the doors. We could hear them cleaning the other rooms which again is noisy.
The location seems nice enough as it is close to a bunch of restaurants.
Many mixed reviews on this one. I was worried! However, my husband & I had a nice time & really enjoyed the room! Staff isn't overly helpful nor pleasant but, luckily we had no big issues. The rooms are comfy. Pillows are nice -I was going to bring my own due to another review but, they must have fixed that problem. we slept well. The only thing I would change is the TV system... The guide wasn't accurate, there was no pay per view that we could see & we DID want to watch some interesting and/or romantic something... That was a bummer. If only there was a way to bring your own machine to watch something... Anyone know how to do that? I'd love to hear. THANKS
My partner and I stayed a night in their Alpine room on a quick weekend getaway and it was so much fun! It's tucked away but 5 minutes or less from amazing restaurants, shops, and lake access. The room itself was so fun. We really enjoyed the hetted tub. Highly recommend staying here, especially in the colder season- prices seem to go WAY up late spring through summer and early fall.
Absolutely, horrible! We first come here over 10 years ago for our honeymoon. We stayed in the alpine suit and it was amazing however, new ownership has run it into the ground. It was in disrepair. It stunk like weed. I was sorry to return for our anniversary. It was huge disappointment. Do not waste your time and money. You will regret it!
Come here to save money only. Every question asked at front desk was answered with “no.” There is no microwave available for use which is pretty basic. The AC is a window unit that sounds like a plane taking off. You hear people walking above and people stop and talk in front of of your door which makes it hard to sleep. There is only one bedside table and no other surface to put anything. The room is basically a king bed, wardrobe, minifridge, fireplace and TV. The bathroom didn’t even have a shower curtain so it is freezing to shower in a big open room. You get the impression management is cheap and wont pay for anything. Wish I picked somewhere else to stay.
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
