Incredible volunteer experience. Easy to check in, the staff was very helpful and the impact we made as a group was amazing. Got a tour of the warehouse and so amazing what this organization is doing for the community.

This is a great place to volunteer to help 2HH provide food to local food shelves in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about their work.

I wanted to volunteer, but the company demands way too much personal information. Worse, you have to sign a waiver indemnifying the company from all liability should you be harmed. You must forfeit your right to privacy in perpetuity, as the company can take images of you and use them however they wish, forever. Very disappointed. I wanted to volunteer, but not at the expense of my personal data or privacy.

Had a delivery going here arrived at about 9:30 sat for 2 hours till about 11:30 when I went and asked what was going on told they won’t be off lunch for another half an hour so In total about a 4 hour delivery while there are other trucks that arrived after me getting done before me

Great place to volunteer. They make it easy to find and attend shifts with other participants. You can sign up alone or with a group and they have really clear instructions at the beginning and end of shifts. I really hope to come back and volunteer here again. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent way to share your time and volunteer. The leaders are friendly and they explain everything thoroughly. Very clean facility and well organized. Love volunteering here. Huge Plus, one can volunteer as often as you would like, whatever works with your schedule.

I really enjoyed volunteering with Second Harvest Heartland, they have a great volunteer/staff pool and the work feels meaningful. My only disappointment is that they closed their Maplewood location so now it's a 30-45 minute drive rather than 10 - it's hard to carve that much time into the schedule.
