SeaVenture Beach Hotel - Featured Reviews (1439)
Stayed here one night on the way from Las Vegas to Monterey. The hotel was lovely and right on the beach at Pismo. It's an easy walk either to the beach, the pier and into the town itself. The room was light, airy, clean and well equipped – although ours had no view. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent: Lobster and prawn vol-au-vent followed by rum and banana bread pudding. We didn’t have breakfast as we weren’t hungry after our lovely dinner the night before! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Pismo Beach.
Enjoyed another fabulous birthday meal here and the food and staff were amazing. My server, Jim was great and helped make it a special evening. The Dirty Bird martinis were excellent and I enjoyed the “Sea Venture” platter. Can’t wait to come back next year 👍
SeaVenture Beach Hotel is one of my top choices for a staycation on the Central Coast! The restaurant is fantastic, offering a menu full of delicious options with beautiful oceanfront views that make every meal feel special. The hotel rooms are incredibly comfortable, especially those with a balcony and private spa—perfect for relaxing while enjoying the stunning beach scenery.
Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus for those of us who love to travel with our pets. SeaVenture is the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, making it an ideal getaway spot!
I really can’t say enough positive things about this hotel. Perfect for a little getaway. Upon our 11am arrival they were able to get us parked at the hotel so we did not have to fight for public parking. We were able to enjoy playing on the beach. Walkable to local eateries. We checked into the hotel later and enjoyed the luxurious room, to my surprise they even upgraded our room complimentary. The location is ideal as it is a prime spot by the beach but not too close to the pier so it is not as busy and you can easily find a place to set up for the day. The staff was super nice too and so helpful. Thank you Seventure for providing a wonderful experience we will always cherish.
My husband and I had a fantastic one night stay at the Sea Venture. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy, loved having our own private patio to enjoy the view and sound of the waves. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful. Especially Kim and Dawn. They went the extra mile for us and we appreciate it. There was even a surprise bottle of wine on ice waiting for us. Such a sweet gesture. Can't wait to come back again and enjoy all the amenities.
Sea Venture is our favorite hotel in Pismo. We love the ocean front rooms and the jacuzzi on the balcony any time of the year. We brought my parents for fathers day and they were very accommodating to my fathers disability. We took the grandkids on our previous trip and they absolutely loved it too!
I would highly recommend the room service and the on-site restaurant.
I don't typically write reviews but I strongly felt Sea Venture deserves the recognition. Esp considering it is not one of the newer, modern hotels. It's definitely a must visit hidden gem!
A great location. The room was very cute and comfy. One of the best beds I've ever slept on. The hot tub is a great feature! Will definitely make this our new go-to getaway hotel!
My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Sea Venture Friday night. We paid With taxes $618 for one night. For a room, in this price range it should have not been dirty nor should I have to call the front desk to have them come and clean that which had not been cleaned. Which is why they are not able to refund even a portion of my money. The hot tub was not clean. The outer rim of the hot tub was filthy. I used a white towel provided by the hotel to clean it and the towel was brown when I was done. The hot tub ran all night every 30 minutes with the jets coming on. I was not able to get any sleep. There was no information in the room about this. According to management my only solution would have been to call the front desk and complain and have someone come in and disturb my time. When I spoke with management they said because I should have complained and had them fix it they can’t do anything to rectify the situation after my the stay. Management said that the hot tub is cleaned and drained after each stay I highly doubt that. Now let me get to the shower. The shower has a body wash, conditioner and shampoo dispensers that were full of yellow and green bacteria, there was also mold on the outside of the shower floor in the grout. I have pictures as well. Just beware you if you stay here you might have cleaning issues. I don’t know about you but a hot tub that is not clean is just gross so think twice about staying here.
We love staying here! Every room has an ocean view and when we stay on upper levels we love keeping the sliding door open so we can hear the ocean waves and feel the fresh air. Very cool town as well. We love to go into town for food and San Luis Obi
Best ocean front experience so far.
The room is clean and refreshing.
The view is amazing during sunset.
Honey birds around your patio.
Not partial ocean view, just ocean view.
Breakfast is fine, but the view is nice.

Definitely recommend this hotel. Great service. Room was super clean and nothing was missing. Nice play area with playground, table tennis... Etc. The views from the hotel and from the rooms (ocean front rooms) are spectacular. There's a trail that r
Friendly staff, gorgeous-view oceanfront rooms, and dog friendly. Really enjoyed having a glass of wine on top of the cliff watching the sunset. It's also really nice being able to walk so far on the clifftop walk from hotel to hotel. Some minor issu
A few friends and I walked in for some late night tacos. Even though we walked in 10 minutes before closing, the workers were so kind and accommodating. I was astonished at the unique meat options I have never seen elsewhere! I always go for a classi
Beautiful little park on the cliffs overlooking Pismo beach. Toys/ playground was very busy when we were there. A nice path goes along the cliff with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
If you are a foodie, then you should certainly check out this place! Bobbie is great! I found out about this sandwich/bread shop and am so glad I did! It is one of those LOCAL treats that you may pass by if you did not look for it, I know I did until
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free. I look forward to being able to
This little overlook provides an amazing view! It wasnât super busy, but itâs surprisingly chilly out so it may be that. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and play, just be careful of the construction areas!
Wonderful experience in December. Not overly crowded, weather was wonderful. I even found a wild honey bee hive in a tree along the road when we parked. Beach was beautiful as well. White sand beach.
Worth the wait. There is a small outdoor area to sit and eat but no indoor seating. Everything is basically "to-go". That being said it is sooooo good. One of tge places you will go again and again. Biscuits are delicious but the chorizo tacos are ou
