Seaside Motel - Motel in Redondo Beach - 1935 Artesia Blvd, USA

My stay so far has been great. I love ❤️ the location. Close to the beach 🏖️ My room is very clean, no complaints! The two ladies that run this place that work in the office , have been nothing but helpful, approachable, friendly! And I can’t forget about the lady that cleans the rooms here! She does an awesome job! My room is spotless! She’s also, approachable, friendly, and helpful! 🤓 I will definitely come back! Just wanna say Thank You!

Lovely little Motel not too far from the Beach and LAX. Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff were very welcoming and approachable, very friendly and able to recommend numerous locations nearby. Would definitely stop by here again if I'm holidaying around LA.

A horrible management with shady room and service charges. Not a good choice for a long-term stay. Rooms are not insulated properly, and the noise is also a big issue if you want to have proper sleep.

Please note that I have left a previous review and this is a change to my previous review. My family and I have been staying at the establishment for over 20 years. The place was purchased from the previous family. Since the purchase things have gone down hill. The night I came they gave me the key to someone else’s room. I walked in and they were asleep and I startled them. It was horrible. They then gave me a room where the window had no lock. I put a coat hanger up to keep my window closed. I did not feel secure. The doors have no internal lock. I put my suitcase up against the door for good measure. On my final day I had an aggressive angry yelling owner chasing after me telling me that my service dog left hair in the bed. He is clearly unaware that I am covered by the Americans with disabilities act. This service dog had stayed here for 13 years. We lived here for a period of time when I was studying to get into Med school. This was under the previous owner. What a terrible disappointment. We will not be coming back and I suggest you do not either. The quality is changed. Further more, the owner is emotionally labile and frankly, I feel threatened and scared of him.

said they were dog friendly and then the lady kicked me out the next morning for having dogs. I didn't arrive until 3 am and checkout was at 11 so I guess it was an easy full night charge for only 8 hours.

We expected a lot more from this motel after reading the reviews. The room was quite old and dark. Parking is limited. We booked it because it's quite close to LAX, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious and clean. Sleeping room was to the back, so it was very quite. Parking is for free, which is rare in this area. The roofed parking lots are a bit tight, but ok. Would stay here again.

It was exactly as advertised! I'm very happy and thankful there r still honest people owning and operating business that I've been fortunate to find, meet & enjoy.
