The best of the best! I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels all around the country and this one is great! The bedding is new and comfortable, and it’s so cool to have kayaks/canoes to rent at an affordable rate. Carry them right down to the river, and your good to flow! 😂 the big fire pit is also a plus, and having access to a fridge and kitchen is great, most hostels don’t even have a fridge! Staff is always super friendly, and quick to make great recommendations on how to spend your day at the coast! 🌊☀️
A very nice hostel. One of my favourites. The atmosphere is open and relaxed. The owner and those who help her are easy going friendly. You can make a fire outside or rent a kayak. The beach and the center of the village are not far. Hikers: there is a washing machine and dryer.
This is a very cool place. With nice people eunning the show. Stay here and catch the bus to cannon beach. This is a great place to stay for travelers with no car coming from Portland.
This place is wonderful. Met some really cool people traveling from Europe. Definitely will bring some firewood next time. My only complaint was I thought I would have a parking spot with my room and did not and had to park 3 blocks away which luckily this was a quick trip so not very much luggage. Maybe number the parking spots for their unit. Our neighbors had 2 vehicles which made someone take ours. Beautiful view on the back porch. Will definitely try to stay again.
Avoid it at all cost ||Airbnb should remove its false and misleading posts. This is not a typical hostel or motel. While a great location its apparent new owner caters to long term renters not travelers. This brings a different vibe more like an apartment complex for the poor and down on their luck. As long as you know what your getting you can make an informed decision. One thing airbnb said was breakfast was included. When I asked about it the owner said "there is pancake mix in the fridge we dont provide more than that" Dirty, small smelly dorm and very strange vibes...||Down hill from there||I wont be back
Front desk was not the be found. Had to call and they had there daughter get our keys after waiting 10 minutes. Room was somewhat clean, but the bathroom was filthy and moldy. Loud neighbors stomping/moving furniture above during late and early hours. Blinds did not fully cover front window. Front door had to be lifted to lock. I mean, I could keep going about other little things, but this was the best deal we could find for $200 on a July 4th Tuesday. Would not stay again.
So I am very familiar with seaside I grew up not to far in a small town called Clatskanie Oregon stayed in seaside in my late teens and early 29’s at helping hands and thugs off drugs anyway I would move to Vancouver Washington and other places I was homeless for a few years and would stay at the hostels all over including seaside I would stay at hostels in Portland Seattle Hawaii ect but seasides I really liked however Ed was very rude and would follow me around and try to tell me what to do tru the owner was cool the first few times I stayed there.. Ed targeted me and then Tru went against me and told me I wasn’t aloud back there 🤦♂️ I guess Ed passed away and I honestly don’t feel to bad that he did he Shouldn’t have worked there and he had no right pestering me and trying to control me when I paid to stay there!!
Halfway house not a hostel. Ive traveled 30 plus countries and stayed at many hostels. This is not a hostel but a long term rental more like an apartment. Thats not bad on its face but the long term renters are not travelers but due to poor choices in their adult lives have nothing, so cheap living in dorm facilities is better than a tent. The owner caters to this group. Drugs, alcohol and mental illness seems to be the common element bonding these people together. ||||Avoid this place in less you fit the profile and enjoy living among this group.

this place is absolutely beautiful & so cute. i love that their flower is local & home grown & their display is TOP notch. Kory was our budtender, he was very nice & helpful !! would definitely recommend if youâre in the area !
It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl
June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi
