It’s not in a safe area. My car was keyed the first night I stayed there by someone jealous of someone having a nice car. I would not consider this a hotel. It is more of a motel. The rooms are dirty and have damage. The second night I was there I was assaulted by one of the local people that stay at the hotel and I guess live there, I do not recommend this hotel by any means I am not exaggerating when I say it’s not in a safe area and spend the extra 10 $20 a night to go somewhere else. There is no cable only minimal channels that you can access through their spotty Internet, which is going to be sophisticated for some people to set up. The only plus is that it’s close to the beach. They charge $18 per night for parking. Needless to say after the second night, I left I asked for a refund for the days I didn’t stay there and they refused any type of help or compensation so I had to contact my bank. The next day, someone was trying to hack one of my accounts on something that was relating to the hotel stay because they were most likely upset about me taking the money back through my bank. The motel has a main office around the building because there are multiple different buildings for the motel it is a long walk to the office. I will be soon making a detailed video with proof of some of what went on the two days I stayed there on YouTube and TikTok.

Positive: the location was the ONLY good thing about this hotel! Negative: Let me see... first, the room was ready, but they want to charge us $100 to check in early. They said they have free bikes, which was the reason we leaned towards them, and they wanted to charge a rental fee to use a bike. $20 parking, cockroaches Negative: ""

This is the worst hotel I stayed in my life. I would rather stay on the county jail, my car or just in the beach than staying at this place. Area is extremely sketchy, they charge crazy extra for parking, and you get charged a extra resort fee as if you are in a resort. When I entered the room I was greeted by 3 roaches, after killing them the other roach family greeted me. After spraying the room with bug spray their extended family decided to come out. It was extremely late at night when I checked in and didn't have another place to stay so had to lay on a blanket I brought because I was scared the bed had bedbugs—probably the roaches' cousins.. Had to check out early because it was disgusting, and when I mentioned to front desk they just said e-mail them. When third party which I booked through called them, they said no complaint has been made so no refund. I also took pictures of the roaches I killed but don't want to get more PTSD by uploading it here.

I made a reservation for this hotel, and when I made the reservation, and also in my email confirmation, there was no mention of any additional fees. When I got to the desk, guess what, surprise! I was told I had to pay another $19.77 for a "resort" fee or some nonsense like that. I would've been fine with it if this fee had been mentioned when I initially made the reservation, and/or it was in the confirmation email. But it was in neither. Therefore, it is for this reason that I am afraid that I cannot recommend this hotel.

The only positive thing I have to say about this place is how close it is to the beach. Other than that expect to wait at least an hour just to check in. No parking I have no idea why there isn’t at least one designated spot for your room. The rooms are horrendous, dirty, falling apart. No words for the shower situation it’s either burning or freezing no in between. Will definitely not stay here again and don’t recommend.

Hidden fees/ frais cachés! January 2024. I booked one week.They have their own parking but charge you 20$ per day x 7 days : 140$ for a week in extra. they’re just trying to rip us off at the office. My biggest mistake was booked there for a week. I was ready to leave the second day. Taxes and fees charged twice time one from booking online and a second pary for their part . Good luck to have a invoice at the desk for the check-out. Not able to get one.You should check your credit card statement! The office is located at 200 feets in an other building. No indication for the office. This hotel belongs to hollywood beach hotels and have many hotels and rooms on this street and the next street too. Very loudy in the night noice from people and client every night .Old motel without soundproofing door, window and walls are like sleep in a tent. One night a weed smoker was outside close to my room, my a/c was turn off and look the big crack in the window the marijuana smoke come in my room (look the pictures) .🤦🏻‍♀️. One day a idiot worker painted the a/c but we were in the room and all room smells iron paint and gave me a headache. Seriously it’s not bright.You heard all conversation outside day and night.People on second floor you hear every step above your room. Bed was terrible we roll in the middle. Wi-fi poor quality many Internet breaks with repeats, we were not able to watch tv in the evening. Questionable stains in the bathroom look like sh**. I have been witness about many client complaint at the desk about differents things. C’est l’Ancien motel Ginette du film québécois La florida. A éviter ! C’est un méchant trou et arnaques ils possedent differents hotels sur cette rue et la suivante.on veut que votre argent. Mefiez —vous!Avoid this motel.

I think it's time that I finally write a review for the Hollywood hotels SEAGULL I CHECKED IN AT 3:00 OF COURSE THE INTERNET CONTINUES TO SUCK ..AND NO HOT WATER..I GUESS PACKING UP MOVING IS EASY FOR THEM BUT FOR A GUEST THAT JUST TRYI H YO SNOIZE AND CATCH IP ON SOME TV.....BOTH FAILED ATTEMPTS BY THE HOLLYWOOD HOTEL THE SEAGULL....TOO 😞... BAD...MONEY WASTED YOUR IN THIER MAKNTAIENCR WORLD SUSTAING A OPEN DOIR ON REPAIRS WHILE YOU SNOOZE....

Absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. The place stunk and was filthy. Wore sandals in shower. At breakfast, if that's what you call it, woman staff member scolded an older woman for accidently spilling her cereal bowl. I felt so uncomfortable. Would never recommend to any family.
