I met to view a room for my daughter's wedding and advised I had 150 people. I was told it would fit approx 115 comfortably so I decided I would knock the list down to 115. We viewed the room and how we would have it set up. She gave me prices and I then asked any other charges I want all bottom line prices and she agreed yes that's it no other surprise charges. I thanked her and said I will get right back to her. I then told her it was a wedding for two woman so she wouldn't be surprised and she said no problem. ONE HOUR LATER I received a message they they had a meeting after I left and came to an " executive decision that the room could only fit 85 not 115 and they had to add $250 for clean up." Weird how she said no other charges and 115 people. Once they hear it's a gay wedding the price went up and guest went down. If you want to change prices coincidentally after I leave it should be your new price going forward not to someone you quoted prices for already..GAY OR NOT!!! ||I will never step foot at this location again!
I don’t understand how there are any reviews that give this place four or five stars. I never write reviews but I feel I was totally duped. The place is dumpy. The staff was kind and very helpful and responsive. I give the desk staff an excellent rating and all cleaners were very friendly. The bathrooms and rooms were clean — well except for one gross thing I found in my room that I won’t name. I just got a tissue to pick it up, tossed it out. The rugs are worn, the walls scraped up, the halls damp smelling, and the gym had crackers all over the floor and a giant washing machine in it that was weird. Don’t count on the gym. I didn’t get to see the pool because the key card didn’t work. Staff offered to prop open the door but we were leaving for the day. It was inexpensive — I think — and it was close to the water. Our rooms looked out on two dumpsters and some trash in the parking lot but we did have water view. There was plenty of parking. There were families living there but they seemed very nice. The place was quiet. So if this is cheaper than the rest and you want to save money and won’t be at the hotel much, go for it. But I don’t know who these people are that rate this place highly.
I took my granddaughter for her birthday with a couple of her friends and they enjoyed themselves & of course their favorite thing was the pool!! It was clean & comfortable. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable & the shower was like ahhhhh!! The only thing that was disappointed with was the hot tub was not open. But over all it was a good time!
The room was very comfortable, including the bed. There are some usual amenities missing: - the phone did not work - the TV does not get any local channels, nor national sports channels - there is no literature about local resources - restaurants, sites - there were loud children running in the halls until around 10:00 pm.
Glad to find a hotel option available late at night off the highway when not many other options exist in that area. Front desk was pleasant and professional. Bed was extremely comfortable and mini fridge was the better kind with a separate mini freezer on top, plus microwave. Quiet setting too. There is a marina with many nice boats behind the hotel near the parking lot, although the surroundings are a bit gritty and dirty. Some parts of the property need updating and sprucing up to compete with fresher mid tier hotels in the same $140-190 price range (Fairfield Inn, Town Place, etc). There also may be migrants or displaced people being housed at the hotel, not certain though. Bathroom shower had some rust around the drain but otherwise fine. Could not get TV to turn on so either it was very tricky to do (not just press the power button and aim towards the lower end of the screen) or the remote control batteries might not have been working. The town appeared to be in somewhat rough shape, at least in the most nearby sections.
The place is relatively clean, you can tell it's been around for awhile. A little remodel would help, but lovely nonetheless. Being on the bay is a nice touch. There were no elevators, so it was difficult to get up and down the stairs. It would be wise, to inform the team ahead of time to get a first floor room, if there's challenges.
We did a three night stay for a family memorial. Our two doubles room was small. Very clean and well made. Well laid out bathroom. Climate control worked well. Could see the harbor from our room. Kerrigan coffee maker clogged. No spares. Still didn't work after requesting it be cleaned. Refrigerator a little noisy, but kept our snacks very cold. Room needs outlets by the bed for phone chargers. Clean comfortable beds. Pen/paper by the phone by the bed was a nice touch when making local arrangements. The touch button on the mirror light was a nice touch. No elevator, but low rise stairs with a wide landing was handy when carrying luggage. I still prefer to carry my own items when traveling. Rear parking lot was not lit and not in clear sight of front office. For younger travelers, it was a good value.
Took dad up to see family he hasnt seen in 11 years. Thought that by reading all the reviews on this hotel that we would give it a try. We were told that each of us would have a water view and that our rooms were some that had been recently renovated. We were very excited about this as we were staying a whole week. NOPE! I had a water view but dad had a brick wall with one tree in front of his window. The beds were sooo extremely soft that anyone with back issues cannot sleep on them. My dads bed was real low to the floor while I had to basically run and jump to climb into mine. Upon arrival my bathroom had to be recleaned as there was hair all over, including stuck to the base of the toilet and all behind the toilet. The filters on the AC system had never been cleaned as there was still the tape from when they were delivered. I had to take them in to the bathroom and clean them myself. There was some kind of a foreign substand on the bed skirt up by the head of the bed. Dads room door would stick so bad we had to slam my shoulder into it to get it to open. The restaurant isnt accessible from the hotel either. You have to go outside and walk around the parking lot. The renovations must be going at a snails pace because the lobby, stairwells, carpeting, walls, etc were in disarray and had that old run down side of the road smell to it. We ended up only staying one night and they charged us for 2 nights a piece. The staff was friendly but not sure I can recommend this hotel in good conscience.

Charming place of window charms, crystals, candles and herbs. Great christmas ornaments and angels too. Very knowledgeable staff. ðâ¤ð this place!!
This cafe is adorable! The apple bagels are delicious and so different. The Nellie Special was the perfect caffeine boost without it being overly sweet. Nate is super friendly! I highly recommend giving them a chanceâ¦we will definitely be back!
This is a nice cozy place to grab a drink and food. I ordered the tres leches cupcake and it was delicious. The hot chocolate with whipped cream hit the spot for me since it is cold outside.
I ordered take out from this restaurant. Iâve been feeling a bit chilly & was craving some soup & noodles. I ordered the Miso Soup, Vegetable Soup, & Vegetable Yaki Soba. When I walked in, the cashier was extremely kind & the restaurant was clean &
Great pizza, but the Kale soup beyond amazing! Every year I cannot wait till it is in season for them to make it! (Although I feel they should make it a special and make it year round) itâs that good! Best around HANDS DOWN! Better than Antonioâs
We are regulars at Galaxy. George, the owner, is the greatest. He always makes sure our food is the way we want it. His staff are all very friendly, and they make sure we leave with a smile and an armload of pizza every time. 10/10 would always recom
