This is clearly an older place, but some renovation work has been done. (It used to be the Red Lion.) It's owned by the same people who own the upscale Hell's Canyon Grand Hotel on the other side of the parking lot.|The building looks unimpressive from the outside, and the lobby and hallways show signs of age. However, the room was great. Spacious, with a kitchenette and a real refrigerator instead of a mini-fridge.|The front desk is manned only part of the day. If you need help outside of that time, including check in, you do it at the Hell's Canyon. Also, there's no breakfast, but the Hell's Canyon has a breakfast buffet that is excellent, and they give Seaport Inn guests a 10% discount.
Horrid
Dreadful place, unclean, uncared for. Dirty bathroom, carpet, phone, heater, surfaces. Toiletries were half full used by previous occupants. Nobody at the desk had to go across to another hotel to check in, room keys didn't work. Sent photographs to the company of the dirt don't expect any acknowledgement. Couldn't wait to leave.
Minus 1 star don't go
For 200.00 a night, there is no continental breakfast, no maid service, dirty room, no hotel personnel on staff all are across the street at Hells Canyon hotel, were I had to pick up the key. Have handicap shower but it is filthy and slippery. Would have been better staying at a motel 6.
I would rather stay outside. The A/C barely worked. The room smelt terrible. To Top it off they charged me twice for a room. When I called and asked about it they said oh we don’t have a secondary charge on this end. Will never be staying again.
If you’re straight off the pork chop express and like hearing dogs bark all night and you like listening to the all night parties then this is the place for you. No free WIFI but the service is nice. There’s a gym next door but not sure what the cost is to it.
Positive: Location was convenient, friendly staff at front desk, full size refrigerator in the room was nice. Negative: The floor in our room could¿ve been vacuumed a better but for the most part the room was pretty clean. Had a regular coffee maker but 2 K-cups, just opened them and poured the grounds into the filter, then no stir sticks, not a big deal, just improvised. Negative: ""
Feces! Checked in and checked right back out they do not clean anything, literally human feces on the pillows and sheets. Walked across the parking lot to the Hells canyon. Completely unsanitary, how this place passes a health inspection amazes me.
Easy to get to. Nobody at the front desk. You have to go over to the Grand to get help, but rates are half as much as the main hotel. Nice big room and appeared clean. Did need new pillows. Bring your own. I am finicky about using pillows, and I'm glad I did because they had a smell. I only stayed one quick night and was worth the money. Had a large fridge, microwave, keurig, desk and king bed. Hot water took about 5 minutes to get to the tub. Outside not much to look at but overall pleased with all. Girls at the desk weren't much help and not the friendliest, but I like customer service people to be a little more upbeat. Couldn't answer my question about the discount for food at the Grand (they own the seaport) and didn't offer to find out for me. The man who took my reservation was NOT pleasant at all but whatever. Got it done. Would recommend to anyone traveling through. Quiet and had what I needed.
