Super nice people, place is really cute and relatively well kept. Could be a bit cleaner, neater. Details like shower despensors needed to be refilled or removed if they're not going to maintain them. Overall good place to stay for price point and not too fussy.

Absolutely disgusting!! The owners should ashamed to allow people to stay here. I do not recommend this place. Bugs coming out from electrical sockets. Cobwebs everywhere. Shower head put together with tape and calking. Got bit by some kind of bug several times within 5 minutes of stepping into the place. I left after 10 minutes. Couldn’t stay. Gross.

Our cottage, #5, was 3 rooms plus a bathroom. Friendly owners. To go food served limited hours from the owners quarters / office bldg. Rooms included a bedroom, living /TV room, kitchen and a small outdoor porch in the front with 2 chairs and table. No stove but had a microwave (on top of fridge so high up), a kitchen sink, a nice mid size tall refrigerator with freezer, plus a small wood table but no chairs in kitchen. The living room had a very lumpy couch. Bathroom door did not close fully. I was not able to get hot water in the shower. Bedroom had a smart TV but we weren't able to get any clear reception or a strong internet signal. Parking was out front of our cabin. Location was convenient. We were only there for one night so it suited our needs. It has potential to be so much more in this popular tourist area. Very rustic finished inside, agree with another reviewer; it bordered on sloppy work in some areas. It would have been nice to have a nightstand on both sides of bed and a bathroom door which closes all the way for privacy.

I had read some pretty bad reviews of this place, and was concerned enough to bring my sleeping bag and pillow (which I did indeed use), but these are some pretty cool little shacks, to be honest! There was plenty of space for a small family to be there for a week; a full fridge and kitchen sink, a bathroom/shower, bureaus with lots of drawers for your things. The coolest thing is that it is not decorated like corporate hotels. It's unique and individual with some awesome antique pieces, and maybe thrift store finds. I found it refreshing, old fashioned, and homey. And each little cottage has some outdoor space! Big bonus! Also, it's very close to the pier, rides, beach, etc. Overall, a great price for a decent place!

On the outside this place looks a little rough. There was a trailer of trash right outside one of our bedroom windows and random furniture scattered around the yard. The inside of our cabin was a little outdated but it was cozy nonetheless. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, the showers were warm, and having a fridge/freezer and microwave saved us a lot of money on eating out. Also, the hot tubs were well kept and clean and perfect for relaxing in after a long day. Not to mention the location was perfect for us. The people who own this place are incredibly kind and even offered to make us breakfast in the mornings. For two people who are traveling on a budget and aren't hard to please, this place was perfect.

I want to say this place has really great people who own the seafarer , they are friendly and if you have questions about what's a great place to eat at they've got some great ideas of where to go. Loved our cottage we stayed in. If you want a friendly quiet place to stay even if it's just for one night this would be the place to come too and they serve a really nice hot breakfast. I'm definitely wanting to come back . I loved the atmosphere and the hot tubs are relaxing and if your reading this don't read so much into the negative comments they are doing a little remodeling this is a wonderful place to come too and look forward to coming back in August the owners are really nice

Stayed in the single bed cottage. The only bad thing about this place is the location. The road to get out of the cottages is on the main road. There is so much traffic it is hard to get out. Other then that, it was pretty clean and was a nice stay for a week with my sister. Jay, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. It did say there was a toaster and coffee maker, but we did not find one which was not much of a problem for us. There was cutlery and plates available in the cottage which was great.

What a dump. Old, unheated cottages missing the most basic of "amenities" like heat, window coverings, soap, trash can liners, ugh. Guy who checked me in brought an old, funky space heater when requested, then told me it would heat up the whole place because it was "insulated", uh, no it didn't. Slept in three layers of clothing clutching my small, personal heating pad. Had to use the bed pillows, one of 2 towels provided. Was told the next morning my room was warmer than outside, so it must be warm. Treated like I was lucky to have gotten what I did.
