Room 206 was a dump. But don't let this stop you from other rooms. We have stayed at Sea Watch for many years with family and friends, many different units. This one is just a dump !!!||First off the smoke detector was hanging by the battery wires, art piece laying on the ground behind the couch, rust in the microwave, filthy counter tops like someone ate a bagel and jelly on the stove, bath room wouldn't flush in 1 bath room, both shower heads were gross one brown-ish one green, a tile in the master bedroom bath was leaning against the wall, mold on ceiling in bathroom, carpet was filthy as parts of the walls. As soon as we opened the front door my son went to go out on the balcony and the lock latch fell off and couldn't go out. Light switch on a lamp had no know, which most lights u had to turn on by hand (not by a light switch). The thermostat kept putting the room to 90 degrees - 1 time it was preset which we didn't do and I checked to make sure it wasn't set to be at 90 degrees the rest of the trip, but 2 other times after coming back from the beach it changed. Curtains were hanging off a few of the hooks. We even were locked out if our room on the next to last night, had to get maintenance to literally bust in. ||We booked thru vacasa and sent them many many pics and was in their office almost daily. My wife nor I complain about anything, I don't write reviews but this one I had to, to hopefully stop people booking a dump. It's a shame there's no HOA or standard. Definitely is giving sea watch a bad rap. We love it there and will continue to stay there, just not room 206.||Also told vacasa it's giving them a bad rap, we didn't mind booking thru them except the one highest manager we talked to, she had a chip on her shoulder and an attitude, we went down the first full day we were there to tell them as they were closed by the time we checked in. We went back the 2nd full day as the first lady told us her manager would be in tomorrow and to talk to her. When we talked to the 3rd lady (higher manager) which was the 4th day of our trip, she was like "and your just telling us this now ?" (With an attitude). The 2nd girl was like no they reported it Monday. |||#vacasa #seawatch #sewatch206 #dump

Rented a condo at Sea Watch in Ocean City, MD. Room 1900 is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with a full ocean front balcony ($8,200/week). The view is spectacular with a constant breeze off the balcony and that is where the good times end. The condo itself is dated, dirty with broken microwave, missing light bulbs (probably so you can't see how old and dirty the condo is). Numerous closet doors broken. Rug under a table was curling on the edges and we had to roll the rug and place it on the side to prevent falls. Vacasa told me to put it in a closet but all the closest doors were broken. Photos on rental site are not accurate as they may have been taken when condo was first renovated. Stove was dirty. Mold and mildew in master bath and the sink was clogged. It overflowed and went into the bedroom. We had to clean the floors with the towels we rented and when I called Vacasa for extra towels, I was told we were not entitled to any more linen. I explained I would not use those towels again after seeing what came out of the sink and the woman got snarky and said she would only give me four towels. The king mattress in the master suite was stained (looks like urine and other stains) and there was no mattress cover. Walls are stained. The maintenance man who came was very nice and replaced some of the light bulbs but not all. they also provided a new shower curtain as the existing one was stained. Sofa is stained and dining set is rickety and old so be careful. Dresser tops in bedrooms are stained and peeling. This was not he dream vacation I thought it should be for the price. Disappointed with the condo and with Vacasa. I did stay at this resort in prior years and was happy, However, it is clear to us vacasa is not what they use to be and are no longer committed to customer satisfaction.

We rented room 1713 which could use some serious upgrading. For example, the vents are rusted, lightbulbs were out, holes in wallpaper/ceiling. Bathroom has no towel racks or safety grab bars. Laundry room is overflowing and its hard to move in there. There were no blankets for the pull out couches (only sheets). I will say the room was clean (so was the furniture). You have to hit the front desk to get tags and keys. Directions did not tell me that. As for the rest of the place, the gym has zero free weights, the stationary bikes are from the 1980s, and the weight/resistance machine had one side out of order. Be aware that they hand out keys to use the "extras" so when I asked for a gym key to work out, I could not go because there were a couple people in the room already. If you are going to limit the room to three/four people at a time take out all the extra equipment (no need for five treadmills) and make space to do yoga or body weight strength training. The garage has adequate parking however the giant extended cab trucks cannot get in and out very easily. I have a smaller vehicle so I did not have trouble, but have been blocked by a truck making a 30-point turn to get out. Maybe have separate parking for them? Place can use some matts by the elevators and areas that get wet. On day one was getting onto an elevator and the floor was soaked. I slipped and fell hard and pretty sure I chipped the bone in my elbow. We were here for my kids birthday and all she wanted to do was use the pool. It was closed for the entire day for a "pump issue" which I'm not sure was true. I understand things happen, but an entire day? There is not much security for making sure it is the residents using the pool. All that being said, I really love this place. I have been here several times and have stayed in some really nice rooms. I plan on coming back (just hope they invest some money in this place to keep it up).

The pictures and description of this condo and totally deceiving to the consumer. The place looks like it has not been updated in many years. The kitchen has wallpaper that is stained, the master bedroom rug is filthy and stained, the bedspread was stained. The bed had a thin mattress topper on top of an old mattress that kept sliding off at any movement. The ceiling in the closet in the master bedroom is water stained and the extra pillows are placed directly below the damage. The bathroom in the master bedroom is extremely dated and the tiles are dirty. The whole place is so dated and dirty that we cut our vacation short and left a day early because we could not sleep in that filth. |It's also very interesting that NONE of the 3 reviews I wrote on various sites for the Seawatch and Century 21 were posted.. but reviews left after my stay which were 5 stars were posted.|TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH.|If the owners and real estate agents want to charge 2023 prices then they should have the condo look like it. |

Just got back from our 5th year staying at the Sea Watch. We love it there. We had 31 people of all ages with us. The amenities are usually great. The basketball court is supposed to stay open until 11:00. Our kids love to go out and play under the lights. This year some nights they closed at 8:15. Friday, the day before we left, they had it closed down. I went and asked at 4:00 if they could unlock the gate. I was told the rain was coming in an hour, and they did not want to have to open it up, and then close it when it rains. Very rude worker. Several people asked for it to be opened and they wouldn't. The rain never came, and the kids would have loved to play basketball the night before they had to leave. We paid over $6,000 for a penthouse condo, and expected it to have the amenities open that were advertised. We are very disappointed with the safety guys at the Sea Watch.

This is a locked down guarded facility! They are very strict on the rules! It has gotten so bad with the most ridiculous rules that it feels more like a prison then a vacation! Its 50 a week to park extra also! i started coming here 21 years ago and I am done! They lock you out at 11 there is no smoking except one spot next to the dogs area which reeks like urine and feces and the garbage dump is on the other side of your 1 whole bench! The other spot is in the parking garage! You can't even hang towels on your balcony or smoke on them either! The prices have also skyrocketed! I go every 4th of July except this year and i used to pay 1800 a week for an 8 person condo!

Great place on the ocean. Had a 3 bedroom condo. Extremely clean and furnishings very up to date. Beds were very comfortable. Indoor and outdoor pool, balcony and full kitchen. Loved the location snd so easy to get to beach. Definitely going back.

The staff is very nice and accommodating but the suites leave room for improvement. The beds were probably the biggest issue for us. They were not comfortable at all. Our unit was kept up well and very clean upon arrival, but the showers could use some updates. By the way, no one watches VHS 📼 or DVD 📀 anymore. 😝 Otherwise, great work!
