We had an absolute perfect weekend getaway with our dogo at the Sea Shell Motel. From the staff to the location this place is great place to stay at when visiting the Westerly area. It’s a perfect walking distance to the beach, they allow dogs and has a beautiful view in the backyard of the pond behind them. It was nice and peaceful and look forward to a future stay with them. This is our 4 th time staying at Sea Shell Motel! Hubby and I love it here! The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are always kept up , clean, beds are comfortable and most importantly the place is dog friendly! Our dog Ben G feels right at home. We finally had the opportunity to utilize the canoe at no extra charge, we totally enjoyed the time spent on the water, we definitely can say that it’s one of our favorite places to stay for a weekend getaway! Lovely, pleasant vintage motel right next to the state beach. The staff is friendly and helpful and treat you like family. Great restaurants and beach supply stores nearby. If you need food shopping or a latte you will need to travel about 15mins north.
Simple yet clean rooms. The process with very good service. However, the hot tub is no longer functional. They do have kayaks to use while on the sound.
Rooms were a bit small for 3 people but the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The location to the beach and things around town is perfect.
Debbie and Nancy are absolutely enthusiastic employees and they made my experience worthwhile! I had a great time at this place and I definitely recommend for people to visit!!! This place is definitely worth the price and you won’t be disappointed!
Called for a last minute stay as we were road tripping in the area and were ready to rest. Debbie was so pleasant on the phone and happened to have availability! I appreciate that they stick to their reasonable prices as I've had motels increase the price for a last minute pop in. The room is very clean and really cute. The beds are very comfortable! I don't love the pillows, they're a little flat, but to be fair, I'm choosy about my pillows so I travel with mine. All in all a great little place with friendly owners who know how to be hospitable 💙
I get no frills and I appreciate that. The owner was super nice and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend that housekeeping start to clean the filters in the AC unit. I cleaned mine right away and I think it was the first time in many years. Beds were comfy but the pillows were flat. Had what we needed.

This is a great park to bring the kids, especially if you have a runner. There's a fence that runs around the entire playground so you don't have to worry about being on top of your little one running into the street. And the playground is pretty big
