Sea Ranch Motel - Motel in Carolina Beach - 1123 Lake Park Blvd S, USA

My husband and I were staying in an Airbnb all week and decided we wanted to stay in Carolina Beach for one more night so we reserved a room here. Once we got to the room I checked under the sheets for signs of bed bugs because I do that everywhere I stay. It was so gross and obvious that it had bed bugs… mattress was covered on the side. They gave us a different room (that I didn't even want) and same thing but way worse.We told them and said we wanted our money back and they didn't argue. I've never experienced this before but it was absolutely disgusting. Always check your mattress! Otherwise you'll be bringing bedbugs into your home.

My family been coming here for 20 plus years. We absolutely love everything about it small,family hidden treasure. We went down for a quick visit absolutely love our Sea Ranch family.Over the years there have been good and bad reviews.My advice take it with a grain of salt and season the recipe. This little spot is older and they are working on it.Everything takes time be patient.Our visit we didn't see any pest,bedbugs,roaches nor did we have problems with staff.We did find our old spot under repair and smiling familiar friends happy to welcome all. God's peace can be found on any balcony just come and see.

LOVE! Great place to stay, great employees at the front desk, loved the pool so nice and clean, parking was good overall a really nice place to stay at while in town! Will definitely book again!!

This is the most beautiful place especially Ms Pat she is a beautiful soul if you ever want to visit and stay at a wonderful place go to sea ranch motel in Wilmington NC and see Ms Pat she is the best.

The sea ranch is an older motel but maintained very well and one of my favorite places to stay. The beds and sheets can be a little damp, but that is to be expected. The rooms are always clean and every person who works there is absolutely great!! They have 2 pools that are always clean. They are located close to everything.

I had the most amazing time at your motel last week. My room was super clean, very cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, and even when the owners, Greg, checked on me frequently. Great memories at this motel. The pool was crystal clear and the Jacuzzi was fantastic. They had daily room cleaning and brought fresh towels, soap, and shampoo. You did not even get that now at Marriotts Hylton’s and so forth. I cannot wait to come back to this lovely motel.

Was a little nervous becuz of other reviews but it was by far one of the best vacation stays my family and I have had. The room was clean and spacious. It was outdated but very comfortable. I loved the little kitchen. There was 2 adults and 2 kids in this room with a queen or dble bed and a pullout couch. It worked for us. My only suggestions would be for them to spray more often for the bugs ( we seen about 5 in our 5days) and to shampoo the carpets. Those are my only complaints as well. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

First time staying at this place, first off I’ll list the good things. The location is great and water pressure is excellent, also access to the beach is right out the door. Cons, the floors are sooooo dirty the bottoms of our feet were black… I found at least 3 cockroaches… and the stains on the pillows and sheets were questionable. We also didn’t get access to the pools because of some testing that needed to be done. The only reason I give this place 3 stars is location and price.
