It has adequate parking right in front, which is nice. we had the jumbo fried prawns, and a grilled cheese sandwich. We decided not to spring for drinks, which was probably a good idea. The grilled cheese was, eh. The fried prawns were good, the fryer wasn’t quite hot enough, which made them a bit oily. The fries reminded us of cafeteria lunches, a bit soggy, with no real crunch after they began to cool. The service wasn’t amazingly polite.
Would be nice to have at least one other vegetarian option, besides grilled cheese and fries. For my other vegetarians out there, the grilled cheese is a hamburger bun, with American cheese sandwich in between. A little cheddar, or Swiss, maybe even some pepper jack, might spice it up a bit.
They did have a large fire pit, which was nice, however, it was only smoldering, with no wood around, add to it. With the breeze that kicked up, it would’ve been nice to have a little heat on the patio. Not a busy Saturday, which was unexpected. Maybe on one of their busier days the service and food would be more up to par.
Overall, we would come back again, but definitely on a different day, and a different hour.
Excellent service! This is hands down the best fish and chips I have ever had! The fish was fresh, crisp and delicious. I tried the fried cheesecake and it was top notch. Will definitely be back. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the food with beautiful views of the Noyo Harbour. Parking was a breeze as well. Thank you Robyn for the amazing service!
Fort Bragg has an abundance of fish and chips options, but this is the go to spot in the area! I wish they would add some outdoor heating options because today was cold and raining hard. The fish and chips will set ya back about $18.50 after tax, but before tip, so it's kinda pricey... It does seem to be in line with other options in the area though. The fish was fried well, but rock cod isn't for everyone. I was personally fine with it though.
Always worth the 2+ hour drive for lunch there. Best fish and chips in Mendocino County. Kids love watching the seals and sea otters play and the fishing boats go in and out. Staff are friendly and portions are filling. Been going there for years Highy highly highly recommend.
Excellent food in a unique atmosphere.
Fish and chips were pretty good, but not the best I've had. Everyone they serve tastes great, so definitely worth going to.
Fun overall. Staff was engaging, atmosphere just what you want if you like semi secluded and unique landscape. Blackbirds, gulls and sea lions come to have you entertain them with your left over bread bowl . Chowder was great and fish and chips are worth the trip. Right on an inlet . Great views.
The fish and chips were the best fish that I’ve ever had. Great flavor, and the perfect amount of batter and crispness. I also loved being able to eat looking over the cove and seeing seals swimming around. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m around!
We're visiting the area and everything at Sea Pal Cove looked great. The four of us got fish and chips x2, pawns and chips, and the clam chowder bread bowl.
The chowder had wonderfully large chunks of clam and potato, and the bread was soft and fresh, but the chowder itself was just a little bland, 7/10. Both the fish and prawns were so perfectly fried and golden, 9/10. The chips were fluffy, but not crisp, so I'm giving them a 6/10, nothing to write home about. The tartar sauce was great. The cocktail sauce was unique, sweet instead of the usual horseradish kick I'm used to.
Overall, I would recommend going and trying it out! I didn't get to try a burger, but they looked delicious as well.
Beautiful relaxing little cove. Nice walk on a marked trail and down a small set of stairs. Please be respectful of the beauty and the neighbors stay on the marked area.
Such an amazingly beautiful place. I've been during the summer and the winter and I can only say that each time I am left stunned. The staff's dedication and love for nature is found throughout the gardens. If you're looking for a great way to spend
Definitely one of my favorite locations on Mother Earth. Beautiful views, loved our campsite (we've stayed twice in the same spot), the trails are excellent, and the beach is awesome. Gorgeous flora, fauna, and fungi.
My husband and I visit Fort Bragg a couple of times per year and this time we came across this wonderful establishment. We got there just in time for the grill to be fired up and we had the most incredible oysters for breakfast perfectly cooked and s
We only took the short trail to the beach, but it was a very nice little beach. It's protected a bit by bluffs on each side and lots of sand to run and play on, as well as the creek coming down to the ocean. Pretty views of the bridge.
I'm excited t
It is an excellent place to eat outside at the harbor. The fish is fresh and tastes great, in my opinion. I ordered the fish tacos. If you try the fried wontons, get the large order. There is also a great selection of beer and wine.
