Sea Oats Motel - Motel in Destin - 3420 Scenic Hwy 98, USA

The room that we book needed a lot of paint and repairs. The elevator was not working when we got there so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. However, I did take pictures of everything that the owner needs to address. The elevator was repaired on the second day. Other than that the price was good and the view was awesome

Just spent our 6th time here in 9 years. This time stayed in 204W Crystal Sands. It is my go-to vacation spot when enjoying Destin. Prices are amazing, front desk service was super nice and condo was very clean. No frills and thrills just basic rooms/condos to accommodate our stays. Kitchen was fully equipped so we could cook all our meals and some. Right on the beach. Beautiful views. Walls are thin so you can hear neighbors above you if staying on lower levels. Depends on your neighbor if its annoying or not. Wonderful stay once again. Will be back.

Nothing fancy, but we don't care about that. Rooms were clean, updated and right on the beach. Great value! The only negative thing I have to say is that the pool closes at dusk. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay!

Unit 112 Crystal Sands EAST Air conditioning doesn't work well AT ALL. Front desk wasn't helpful- said it was up to the owners who apparentlyare in no rush to fix it. Temp has been 75-78 all week in our room. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't stay in this unit again. Also, mold is growing above the shower and the toilets don't work the best.

Room 1. No water pressure. No towel bars. Hard mattresses. No auto thermostat on the AC so it's has to run all the time. Bad patch jobs on the wall. No updates to the rooms in years. Only benefit is it's right on the beach

This place was just as other reviews said its a hidden gem! Just was down there for memorial weekend 2023 and had a great time and will return next year. Stayed in apartment 2 and the room was very nice and a great view of pool and beach and ocean. Very easy to get to any thing you wanted to do in short time of driving!

Great Location! Beach/Ocean View with Patios. Beach access, literally out your room, under 40 second walk till you hit white Sand. Stayed on 2nd floor. Elevator takes You up. Sea Oats has Chairs and Umbrellas For rent. Our Room Had An electric stove with refrigerator, pans, plates etc. Will definitely Stay here again!

We called ahead and was told there were 2 types of rooms available, 1 for $240 and the other for $260, however, when we arrived to check-in a greedy lady out back contradicted what the counter staff had told us, and said all that was available was the more expensive rooms also that the price had risen to $290! The counter staff seemed a sharp cookie, there are only 2 options and this isn’t rocket science and she spoke with a level of conviction reminiscent of certainty on the phone prior and when we arrived, however, the lady out backs greed lost her our business. The rate she attempted to charge us was more expensive than Marriott’s rate that was 10 minutes away so we went there. It’s a real shame because we specifically came for one night to experience it so we can make a well above market offer to acquire this business/property, however, I think I’ll cut my nose off to spite my face.
