The Sea Lord is the absolute best hotel in the Fort Lauderdale area. My husband and I have gone back three years in a row, and we will continue to go back as long as we can! The rooms are always clean and great for the price. But the best part is the location. This hotel is right on the beach and you can even rent lounge chairs and umbrellas. And the pool is fantastic as well! 10/10 Cannot recommend the Sea Lord enough.

I usually never take the time to leave a review but because of the wonderful experience i had at The Sea Lord, I feel compelled to write one. The staff was the most friendliest and helpful team of coworkers. Each one went out of their way to make my stay memorable and very comfortable. It was a true pleasure to chat and interact with them. If I owned a business, I would hire each employee to work for me. The property is super clean and you can see the little extra touches and thoughtfulness that is put in daily to give a guest a positive experience. The pool and outside private beach was just the perfect size. The food was amazing and the drinks always cold and only fresh ingredients used. The location is also perfect. Walking distance to the square but not too far. It was quiet and serene and I always felt safe. The private beach area next to the ocean with the pool within a few feet of one another Superseded my expectations. I am so overwhelmed with the spectacular service that I've already let friends know of this gem in Lauderdale by the Sea. I am trying to get some dates together soon to book again.

We loved everything about our stay at Sea Lord. Our room was clean and a great size (really big). The pool was awesome, and all the guests we met by it were friendly and enjoyable to chat with! We love the proximity to the beach and how many great restaurants you can walk to! It’s also awesome that parking is included, and though we didn’t take advantage this time we likely will in the future. We were looking at dates to book our next stay before we even left!

This is truly a hidden GEM absolutely amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the service and personal chef experience. The room was absolutely perfect with a beautiful ocean view and balcony. The areas is perfect with amazing restaurants and night life! The ladies at the front desk are very sweet, knowledgeable about the area, helpful in each and every way! The ladies and gentleman helped my boyfriend plan a romantic candle light dinner for my birthday!! by the pool right in front of the ocean, took pictures and provided an absolutely once in a lifetime experience that had me in tears❤️ the personal chef was amazing! Along with the service from Tatiana was the best experience you could ever dream! The private beach area and pool side very quiet and calm! Adults only! Very nice guests as well! Housekeeping was fabulous!! We will be back very soon!

A gem of a place with beyond wonderful staff! The best way to describe the Sea Lord Hotel is: a home away from home! This was our first time here and because of the people, we look forward to returning. The hotel owner, Richard, made us incredible meals himself (yes, himself!!!) -- and the staff (shout out to security guard Jesse!) all made us smile and ensured that we had the best stay ever. Thank you Sea Lord hotel for the memorable stay. See you next time!

Great hotel. You can't beat the location 100 yards from the beach. Walking distance to Square in Lauderdale by the Sea. Service was great including room maintenance. They treated us like we were really good customers. My one issue (I won't call it a complaint) was that the toilets we too low. But if you want a great beach vacation, THIS IS THE PLACE.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great location, incredible value. We will be back! It's also a great place for snorkeling. A beautiful reef sits 50 yards from shore and extends all the way to the pier! Be careful when booking your room. Palm trees block the view of the 3rd floor rooms on the north end of the building. We booked a panoramic ocean view but we couldn't see the ocean. Sea Lord needs to rent those rooms as partial-ocean view or cut down the trees. Lucky for us, Tiana moved us to a room with a view. I hate to imagine my review had we paid for an ocean view and been forced to stare at a tree all week.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Lord Hotel. The staff was amazing! The grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. Our oceanfront room had a fantastic view. The only reason I did not give 5 stars on room is because the air conditioning in our first room broke during our stay and we had to switch rooms. Upon arriving to our new room, the shower was dirty and we had to have the bathroom cleaned. It was a bit of an inconvenience but the staff handled in quickly and courteously. I would definitely stay at the Sea Lord again!
