Sea in the City - Aquarium shop in Orlando - 441 Gaston Foster Rd, USA

Today was my first visit of hopefully more to come. I stopped by on a whim while driving down the 408 after seeing a reference to this location a few weeks ago. Prices were reasonable and I enjoyed the feel of more of a locally owned place as opposed to some of the bigger players in town. Luis answered my questions and set me up with some good recommendations for my somewhat established tank. I’ll be back.

As usual very friendly and resourceful, none of the fish purchased there ever got sick unlike those from the huge stores.

They had cool really cool livestock, their coral prices were a little steep for the size/species of the frags, but it was a neat little shop to stop at

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our many questions and were very knowledgeable. The owner showed us their long term residents, many of which were rescues such as a 50+ year old clown fish and a blue hippo tang. It was obvious that the owner and her employees really care for the fish and their health. They don't pressure you into buying and really want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. Even though it is a smaller store their tanks are clean and well maintained and all their fish look healthy. They also have great prices and some more unique finds that you don't always see in even the bigger stores. We will definitely be making the 1hr 45 min drive to go back some time.

My husband and I had the best experience today at Sea in the City! Marcia was so knowledgeable and helpful. Her fish were very well cared for and she had a wide selections of coral. She took time to make sure the items we were purchasing would be compatible with the other fish and coral in our tank. Her concern for our success with our purchase was more important than just a sale. I would highly recommend Sea in the City!!

Went to Sea in the City today. What a great place. TONS of coral, amazing healthy fish, helpful staff that let me stay and stare until I was ready to purchase. Dropped a bundle and it was worth every penny! Go say "Hi" to Marcye and her Crew. You will be glad you did!

Came in an hour before closing to look around and ask a few questions as I am starting a reef tank very soon. Anthony was very helpful and knowledgeable with everything I asked. They didn't have a sump that I was looking for so Anthony is looking into special ordering one for me. The selection of corals and fish were great as well. Everything looks well taken care of. We will definitely be returning to this store.
