Sea Hawk Motel - Motel in Ocean City - 12410 Coastal Hwy, USA

After cancelling another hotel for not having air I did some searching and came across the Sea Hawk. Man am I glad I did! I went with my wife and two kids for the week and it was perfect! Was it dated, yes however, it was extremely clean, staff was amazing and it was exactly what we wanted out of a place to stay for the week! Location was great, a quick easy walk to the beach even with 2 little kids and plenty of parking in their lot. We will be booking again for next year once we can!

Positive: The staff were so friendly and available. The room was so much bigger than we thought. I felt close enough to the inlet but had great beach space. My special daughter would have felt so at home here and would have access to the beach.

we had a great stay here for the Oceans Calling Festival! the room was a great size for 2 of us! my only complaint is the blankets could be better..so maybe plan ahead and bring some extra 😊

This property is a very good bargain and the staff are fantastic! Five minute walk to the beach and plenty to do and eat within a short drive - even into Delaware. The pool is very refreshing. I don't know where they get the water to fill the pool, but it is super cold and feels great when the temps feel like 100+. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need to cook a meal or serve a delivered meal - as well as heat up the leftovers the next day. For a large room, the A/C cooled quickly to whatever temp you wanted.||The main issue is fluctuating water temps in the shower. This is something I thought went away in the 80s with newer plumbing systems. It wouldn't ever scald or freeze you, but it was aggravating to set a comfortable temp only to have it go up and down randomly depending on someone else's use. The beds weren't very comfortable and sounded like I was sleeping on a waterproof cover. Speaking of covers, only a sheet and thin bedspread are provided. There was plenty of parking, but the spaces are cramped for maneuvering a full size truck or SUV - suggest parking in the end spots. The pool hours are super short (closes at 8pm)

Positive: Short walk to the beach, pool is small but not crowded. Room accommodated our family of 5 as well as a one bath room can. Obviously an older hotel, not shiny and updated but clean and comfortable and the full kitchen was great for making our own meals.

Positive: Check-in was easy, even though we had two groups arriving at different times. The woman at the front desk was very helpful, sweet, and fun to deal with. The room was large, and the mini fridge was bigger than many. The pool was nice, if a bit sandy. Negative: Not really! It was expensive, but so is everything else in that horrible town. Parking was tight, but again, that's Ocean City for you. There was very close street parking if you have more than one car, so not a big deal.

Been coming here for years! Always accommodating! Very friendly staff! The pool is always sparkly and inviting everytime I walk by it! The rooms are very clean and fresh! Love the kitchen, straight off the beach and have a short meal and head back out!

Location is great but the rooms are outdated. Would not have mind so much that the rooms are old but old doesn’t mean it needs to be dirty! The woman working at the front desk the morning of Saturday August 19 has an appalling attitude! If she is Management, that’s just sad. I am never staying here again!
