Sea Gem Motel and Apartments - Motel in Seaside Heights - 55 Dupont Ave, USA

No frills motel with excellent help and accommodating. Nice clean small pool, rooms aren't fancy but when you come to Seaside, likely you won't be spending much time in the room, so if you just need a place for your stuff, a place to sleep and shower, this is a inexpensive motel. I've stayed here several times. They have a lot of cameras that are watched at all times for safety.

It’s a motel so we went in with tempered expectations. But it isn’t that bad for a night or two. Pros 1) short walk to boardwalk 2)mini fridge and micro wave 3)clean beds 4)neighborhood feels safe CONS 1) bathroom looks dingy and a bit creepy but we showered well enough 2) had two flies in the room but was just bearable 3)if there are people in the pool, walking down steps, or above you, you’ll hear them. 4) slight funky/stagnant smell when entering the room but goes away when you circulate the air and just keep it on 5) no central office, you have to go to nearby sky view manor to check in

Worst hotel ever. I left my blanket on the bed and i called the next day about it and they claimed they never found it! And a few years ago my brother left his switch in one of the rooms and they never found that either they are liars and they still sh!t They also have awful bathrooms the only good thing is the convience to the place other than that make sure u have everything with you bc trust me itll end up missing!!!

Room was very good for seaside hotel will definitely stay again staff was nice pool was a little small but was clean we stayed in a one bedroom apartment plenty of space lighting by sink vanity could be better but over all we were happy with the room and our stay 😊 definitely better than we expected.

I remember years ago when my mother used to rent out one of the apartments and I remember that we had to move back there twice one was the middle floor and one was the downstairs for on the front on the other side of the property and I wonder if any appointments are available

My partner and I brought our six year old autistic son (who absolutely loves to swim) to this hotel, and they were very accomodating. Our little one was a little out of sorts when we got there and we informed the owner that our child was on the spectrum and he was EXTREMELY understanding and didn’t even mind that our room was so close to the main office, because it was by the pool. They also kept the pool open for us late on the first night. There are no elevators in this hotel, and there not a stopper on the door which would have prevented our son from opening it constantly. They also didn’t have cable tv and the layout of the rooms was really inconvenient. That being said, for the price of the rooms, excluding these amenities was definetly not a deal breaker for us. Who watches cable TV anyway? Very short walk to seaside heights boardwalk and beach, there is a pizza shop one block down and a breakfast joint one block away. The pool is really big, unlike the pools that are typical of seaside heights hotels that are the size of a parking space. This one is the size of a parking lot! It goes up to 8 feet and marker to seperate the deep and and shallow end. There is also a 2 foot kiddie pool attached do the big pool. There is umbrella and chairs all around the pool. We have been trying different hotels in seaside heights for a while trying to find one that could accomodate what is important to us for an affordable price and we found it! Well definetly be going back to the Seagem a few more times!

Tried to save some money by booking this for a two night stay for $200. This was maybe worth $20. This group of properties is not well maintained. The first room we were given included a broken door, floors with missing pieces, dirt on every surface and a mold-filled tub. There were no towels provided unless asked for, and a 1/2 roll of TP in the room. No coffee pot, and in every room the tv was different. Ours got one channel. Neighbors were up all night partying as well. ||If it had any benefits. It was good air conditioning, a cute pool (but no where to wash off from the beach), and great location to walk to the beach.||Beware, a tenet feeds seagulls every morning and the wash job in your car will be ruined 😔

Will start with the winners first: 1.Location is good as it is within easy walking distance of the boardwalk/beach. 2. Pricing was the cheapest around for the dates we wanted. 3. Pool was very clean and got to use it quite often with just our family. The negative. 1. Very outdated rooms with strong smells. 2. Lighting was very poor. 3. Door security seemed questionable
