On a chilly 50-degree night with no heat in the room and only a thin blanket, I requested an extra one but was rudely denied by the staff, who seemed to doubt my honesty about the heat. After insisting, they finally provided a remote to adjust the heat. Early the next morning, they began loudly cutting down palm trees in the courtyard without regard for guests, lacking proper safety gear and disturbing the peace. Additionally, they were drinking alcohol while operating the chainsaw, further jeopardizing safety and demonstrating a lack of professionalism. It's clear they prioritize neither comfort nor safety for their guests. If you value rest, seek accommodations elsewhere.

Horrible disgusting bugs television didn’t work at first remote didn’t work either. Service was slow, staff was slow, parking was awful not worth ever going back. I’d recommend closing down. Maybe cheap but I don’t recommend this place at all.

Positive: Free parking, vinyl flooring throughout, clean bed and room. Negative: Trash in parking area, Not enough towels, makeup on one towel, the room did not appear to be finished ie no microwave oven

BED BUGS!!!!! Please be aware that I experienced seeing bed bugs in the beds. I love the Cambria area and decided to stay in San Simeon. Upon arrival, I noticed the hotel ‘inn’ was more of a motel. I thought I would give it a chance since it was late and I had my 80 year old mom with me who was tired. We were doing a road trip up the coast. Anyhow, after the two of us got settled in, I went to lay down and I thought I had noticed bugs on the headboard when I checked the sheets (that’s the first thing I do). I turned the lights on and sure enough there were bugs in the bed!!! I called the front desk and no one is there past 10, but the manager answers the phone at night. She immediately tried to tell me there were flies or ants. I know what those two look like and that’s not what was in the beds. I left that place so fast, and I was so bummed because for it being the first time I’ve experienced this, I wanted my own clean bed even though we had just started our trip! Lastly, people live in the hotel!!! The high school girl that they have working at the hotel told me. And sure enough you hear people yelling for their kids and pets. Doors slamming and people running up and down their old stairs. They don’t have elevators and the stairs are outside so you hear everything!

Location was about 10m ride from LAX so the Lyft ride was only about $30 there and about $20 back, which is decent. So in that sense the location was good. But the area looked sketchy. We live in NYC so we don't scare easily and the noise didn't bother us. But the location was not cute or anything like that. Anyone not used to sketchy areas may want to choose something else to avoid feeling a bit nervous. There is an IHOP very close that is open 24 hours so that does well in a pinch. Also CVS and shopping centers. There was no hot water at all, even after letting it run for several minutes, so we couldn't shower (no cold showers thank you very much!) We never tried the AC, no need. Was happy to find a mini fridge and microwave in the room. TV didn't work, but after some checking, found it was just unplugged. So we unplugged the microwave so we could plug in the tv. There were cigarette burn holes in the blanket and what looked like toothpaste stains on it (dried white crusted on stuff) and here and there some hairs and they had no qualms with using stained pillowcases. But I could tell that the sheets and pillowcases had been cleaned. I have airbnb's so I can usually tell the difference between stained and unwashed. We found the employees to be nice and friendly enough. No problems there. Answered my questions and were helpful. My daughter sent me a link to this place through a discount booking site as an option when I had a long overnight layover in LA and my teenage son didn't want to wait in the airport. It was about $77 plus about 15.5% tax so around $90 for a room with king size bed.

Worst hotel I ever been in . Loaded with roaches! Think I’m lying ?? Go book a room . They should be shut down. The 3 stars is a scam. Police were in and out with dogs. And they only want money. They don’t care about helping you with anything after

Honestly, if you want some that is easy check-in and check-out, CHEAP, and clean for the most part, then check this place out most definitely! God location next to Hollywood Park Casino, SoFi Stadium, and about 15 min from LAX, decent places to eat, and a better part of the town...plus the folks who work there are real easy going and will definitely help you if you need it. Again, if you don't wanna break your pockets and need some quick, last minute, and clean, most definitely check them out...thanks and I'll certainly be back again!

I recently visited last week with my boyfriend, we were looking for a night away. We given room 407 on the second floor. I walked in and realized that the room smelled like smoke, so we cracked the window open and I headed to the shower and unraveled on eof the towels and laid it on the floor so I could use it for a mat. There was big black foot print on it, I decided to open another and that one was dirt also so I just folded it. Then I finally let the water finish heating up and hoped in the shower. There was mold all over the curtain and hair on the wall. I packed my bags and went to the front desk and asked for a different room. The guy apologized and gave us a different room. We got room 405 on the second floor, there was a vodka bottle wrapped in a bag I over looked it and decided to check everything else and it was fine but the ac unit was really dirty. Tge controller for the tv didnt even work.We forgot something in room 405 and went back the next day, the guy at the front desk said the just cleaned it and it might not be there but he said I was welcome to check. They DID NOT clean the room, everything was were I left it. I hope this place gets inspected because it was expensive, and very very dirty.
