Would be nice if they would try to have member friendly hours for the fitness center and other amenities. Basically lose your gym membership for weeks when they decide to adopt a schedule that doesn't work for people who have a job. Close at 4? What are we doing here. Get a membership elsewhere.
Graduation service was held here and it was terrific. Proud of my graduate.
The facility is very clean and organized. Karen Lozano does a fantastic job! There is a multi-purpose gym with a running track, basketball courts, rock climbing wall, and boxing heavy bags. They also have a swimming pool, a shooting range, racket ball courts, and a fitness center. Lastly, it is the home of the MTU Huskies Hockey Team. Go Huskies!
This facility is such a great asset to the surrounding communities. With a wide selection of activities to choose from including racquetball, indoor track, basketball courts, pool and weight room. Thanks to MTU for sharing and allowing the communities to access this facility
Skate rental is a little chaotic, but I'm sure it will get easier. Helmets are required, and they ran out of all equipment while we were in line. Will know better for next time.
Great for all visitors, not just students!
Overall, the facility is great and offers a lot for both students and community members. The hockey arena is well set up, as well. There are two gyms with open hours for anyone to use the indoor track or basketball hoops, but there is also times for varsity teams and intermural teams only. There is a lap pool and a deep dive pool. Full gym with free weights, barbell weights, running and biking equipment, and an area for body weight excercise and stretching.

Great park with free parking. Hung out for awhile, finding shady picnic tables about. Lots of activities and kids enjoying themselves. We especially liked the ice cream and slowing us to try a taste before buying a cup! Delicious!!
Very very very fun. Took my 3 kids here 7-12. They all enjoyed it very much. I (39, 230lbs) climbed up it and slid down the slide but decided not to go back up. It was a lot of fun. Didn't see many ladders. The park is really beautiful. Great vi
Best burrito within 100 miles! The chili chocolate cake, layered with pistachio cheesecake, is absolutely incredible! If you want to try the cake, be sure to stop by earlier in the day as it's not unusual for them to run out in the evening!
The skatepark is very nice. The pavilion at the park is great for picnics. There are also coin operated showers that are open during summer and early fall. These are great if you are camping in the area.

This is one of the three visitor centers for Isle Royale and the only one not on the island. If you find yourself waiting for a boat or plane, this is a great place to burn some time and plan your trip so that you don't need to spend much time island
Got an idea to come here from a Pure Michigan article. Perfect beach to go for sunset. Sand is dark tiny stones. Water gets deep very quickly. You can have a walk on the wave breaker. Many people come here to make fires on the beach in the evenings.
